Resident Evil 5 wasn't particularly loved by audiences when it was first released in 2009 - some fans of the popular franchise's survival horror roots were aghast when Resident Evil 4's camp tone continued into its sequel, and Chris Redfield's boulder punching tendencies have lived on infamously.

Whether gamers love or hate Resident Evil 5, there's no shortage of content for those playing it. This guide will take players on a journey through chapter 2 to find the collectible emblems that can unlock bonus costumes for Chris and Sheva, as well as several 3D figurines that players can use to get a closer look at their favorite characters.

Chapter 2-1, 'Storage Facility', has 5 emblems to unlock. It sees players battling against the Majini through some more streets, getting a glimpse into what life was like before mutated insects began bursting out of everyone's heads.

The first emblem of the chapter can be found immediately - simply walk forward and look up to find this emblem next to a garage door.

The chapter's second emblem can be found soon after crossing a bridge - players will need to kill an infected van driver to get to the other side, but before proceeding down the stairs, look straight ahead to find this emblem underneath the bridge.

After emerging from the sewers at a market, players will need to briefly walk along the beach to get around a small blockade. When re-emerging onto the street, one of the game's best-hidden collectibles can be found hidden inside a small green booth. It's easiest to destroy this emblem with a grenade.

After unlocking and exploring the Port, players must kill some enemies with crossbows as a helicopter arrives to provide backup. When the enemies have been dealt with, climb a ladder in the street and aim at a nearby building to find this emblem.

Progressing further into the chapter, players must fight their way inside (and to the top of) another building. There, they will be prompted to 'assist jump' to launch their partner over to a building opposite. Before launching them, turn around and aim up to find this emblem.

Chapter 2-2, 'Train Station', has 3 emblems to unlock. It sees Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar battling through locations ranging from a train yard to creepy underground caves, before emerging for one of the game's first proper boss fights.

Soon after the chapter begins, players will need to climb atop some train cars. Jumping to a train car near the starting point and aiming up will reveal this emblem - it's easiest to hit with a sniper rifle.

Later in the chapter, players will need to carry a light through some dark caves. When reaching a wooden bridge, look to the right to find this emblem on the wall.

After leaving the caves and climbing a ladder to get to the top of a cliff, players will need to look back at the building they encountered Irving in - on a wall of the building next to it, this emblem can be found (and is MUCH easier to hit with a sniper rifle.)

For players that are dedicated to finding BSAA emblems, there are several goodies to unlock. Note that most also require certain chapters or the entire game to be completed, and that figures must be purchased from the 'bonus features' menu for points.

Resident Evil 5 is available on PC, PS4, PS3, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
