The Prince and Princess of Wales and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Today, Princes William and Harry and their wives Meghan and Kate put any differences aside to pay tribute to their late grandmother. While in recent months tensions have been high between the Sussexes and other members of the royal family, the foursome came together to visit a flower memorial to the Queen in Windsor and to see the outpouring of love for the late monarch by her people.

The appearance came just a few hours after William issued his first public statement as Prince of Wales, sharing a personal reflection on his grandmother's life, which read:

Harry and William had previously reunited in Balmoral following the Queen's death on Thursday, but neither Kate nor Meghan traveled to Scotland at the time. King Charles III acknowledged both of his sons and their wives in his first speech as monarch, recognizing their unique paths forward.

"As my Heir, William now assumes the Scottish titles which have meant so much to me. He succeeds me as Duke of Cornwall and takes on the responsibilities for the Duchy of Cornwall which I have undertaken for more than five decades. Today, I am proud to create him Prince of Wales, Tywysog Cymru, the country whose title I have been so greatly privileged to bear during so much of my life and duty. With Catherine beside him, our new Prince and Princess of Wales will, I know, continue to inspire and lead our national conversations, helping to bring the marginal to the centre ground where vital help can be given," he said. "I want also to express my love for Harry and Meghan as they continue to build their lives overseas."
