In the latest resurfaced clip, fans recalled when Her Majesty spotted a herd of cows being paraded as part of her 90th birthday celebrations. During the event, hosted by Ant and Dec at Windsor Castle, she could not hide her joy after noticing the Jersey and Red Sussex cows.

In the footage, her eyes were wide and she exclaimed 'cows!' to the late Prince Philip. The Queen beamed as her husband looked at her in adoration. The pair then appeared to discuss the wholesome moment.

Fans have taken to social media to share their love of the clip, which showed a softer side to the monarch. One royal fan explained: "This is where my cow obsession began, she was so excited to see cows I started to copy her every time we drove past them!"

A second royalist said: "By far one of my favourite moments, my partner and I still occasionally shout 'cows' at each other. RIP ma'am," while others simply dubbed it their "favourite clip".

"She really won me over that day," commented a third fan. A fourth person said the clip "remains the best video ever".

Finally, a royal fan wrote on Twitter: "Dear God, even the Queen knew you're required to say 'cows!' when you see cows. This is my favourite thing."

The Queen herself was a keen animal lover, owning corgis, racing horses, and breeding cows. She owned the biggest herd of Sussex cows in the world on her Windsor estate. Just a few years ago, an episode of Countryfile revealed that her cattle would sleep on waterbeds.
