The members of the new British government will hold their first meeting with King Charles III this Saturday, a few days after the country's Prime Minister Liz Truss formed her Executive.
The ministers will attend the Accession Council at St James's Palace in London, where Charles III will be formally proclaimed sovereign of the United Kingdom, according to DPA agency.
Later they will travel to Buckingham Palace for an audience with the monarch.
King Charles III received Liz Truss this Friday at Buckingham Palace in the first meeting between the two since the death of Elizabeth II on Thursday and since the latter entrusted the former Foreign Minister with the formation of a new Executive last Tuesday.
Offering his condolences, the king shook her hand and thanked her, saying, "It's very kind of you to come, I know how busy you are."
Earlier, the prime minister has led tributes to the queen in the House of Commons as she urged the country to support its new monarch.
