Derby County are expected to return to action in midweek after the football calendar was put on hold this weekend in a show of respect to Queen Elizabeth II.

The English Football League and Premier League both decided to postpone all games on Saturday, Sunday and Monday in the wake of the Queen's death at the age of 96. That included the Rams' visit to Morecambe, with discussions now to take place about when to reschedule the meeting.

Talks have also taken place about when football should resume, and as it stands, the EFL programme will kick back in on Tuesday, September 13, with Derby travelling to Lincoln City in League One.
