Hemsworth has quite the packed schedule moving forward, however, his journey during Thor: Love And Thunder was not an easy one, especially behind the scenes.

The actor was eating every two hours, packing in the calories and matching that with intense workouts. We'll take a look at his process on the road to the film, along with taking a look at his kind gesture for vegan Natalie Portman.

Some of his Thor: Love and Thunder co-stars made mention that the actor would eat bison in the morning... Yes, Chris had a very intense diet on the road to portraying a superhero, something he takes very seriously.

When it came to his meal plan, Hemsworth ate plenty. However, in order to avoid feeling heavy and sluggish, the actor's meals were cut down into smaller portions throughout the day.

By the end of it, he would be eating roughly 450 calories per meal. Most consisted of meat or a high quality protein, a simple carb like rice, along with a veggie such as broccoli. In truth, the actor was basically eating all day long on-set, ensuring he'd fill-out that suit in the best way possible.

Luke Zocchi, Hemsworth's trainer discussed the workouts involved and as expected, he revealed alongside Page Six that the weights were very heavy, matched a high-intensity style.

"It's just heavy weight lifting, training at least once a day, sometimes twice a day," Zocchi said. "People are surprised you don't normally train over, like, an hour in a session. It's normally an intense, heavy workout. But we're normally done within an hour because we've just pushed him that hard over that hour."

He added, "But it's an intense hour. It's not like we're standing around and taking photos for Instagram."

Everything was on point for the actor, though he did decide to change things up diet-wise, because of a certain co-star.

Chris Hemsworth is a thoughtful fellow... when discussing her time alongside the actor, Natalie Portman revealed that Hemsworth refused to eat meat prior to their kissing scene. Even Tessa Thompson called it impressive, given that the actor was constantly eating on-set.

Portman revealed alongside Capital Film, "He's really nice, before sharing the sweet gesture he made before they filmed a kissing scene."

"The day we had a kiss scene he didn't eat meat that morning, because I'm vegan. And he eats meat like every half hour. Like, that was so thoughtful. That's not something I'm angry about or care about, but he was just being thoughtful. He's just a very nice person."

Thompson would further state, "I didn't even know he could go without eating meat. He's just like eating bison in the morning. That's so sweet."

A great gesture from Hemsworth, especially given that the actor is following the exact opposite diet of his co-star...

It was in 2011 that Portman decided on a Vegan-diet. Portman credits Jonathan Safran Foer as a main reason for the change. She discussed the process alongside Vanity Fair.

"When I read the book, that was what made me become a vegan."

"I think until then, I had thought, 'Oh, with eggs and dairy, you're not killing animals. It's just their natural byproducts.' But when I started learning about the conditions-and the environmental effect of all these animals and the impact on humans of having large groups of sick animals together, it really made me want to change immediately."

Portman would further state that tricking your taste buds is also a big part of the adaption process, "If you have two things that taste identical and one doesn't harm the planet or other creatures and is better for you health-wise, then why would you?" Portman said. "That's always the reason people give for when they don't feel like they can make a change: 'Oh, I can't give up cheese. I can't give up ice cream."

Clearly, her dedication remains very high, putting up with Hemsworth and his many high meat meals...
