The 74th Primetime Emmy Awards will be broadcast live on September 12 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. The annual ceremony honors the best shows on television.

The 2022 Emmys is hosted by Kenan Thompson and will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. Popular series like "Succession," "Euphoria," "Ted Lasso," and "Ozark" are all up for nominations this year. First-time nominees include some notable new shows like "Squid Game," "Severance," and "Yellowjackets."

If you're looking to tune in to see the winners live, you have a few options. Here's how you can stream the Emmy Awards on September 12.

You can watch the 2022 Emmy Awards live on September 12 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

If you already have a cable or satellite pay-TV provider with NBC, you can stream the Emmys using your account information via the NBC website or the NBC App.

If you don't have cable, Peacock is the cheapest way to stream the 2022 Emmy Awards. Though Peacock has a free entry-level plan, live events are usually exclusive to the service's Premium plan. Peacock Premium is $5 a month, but for a limited time, you can get an entire year at a discounted rate of just $2 a month.

NBC and its related channels are also available through several live TV streaming services, including Sling TV, Youtube TV, FuboTV, and Hulu + Live TV. Full channel lineups vary and starting prices range between $35 and $70 a month. Though more expensive, each of these services offers a bigger selection than Peacock.

Of the above options, Sling TV is the most affordable. Sling Blue includes NBC in select markets, plus 40 other channels for $35 a month. New members can get their first month for 50% off.

The 2022 Emmys feature nominees across several categories and honor the best shows of the year. Only series that debuted new episodes between June 1, 2021 and May 31, 2022 are eligible for the 2022 awards ceremony.

HBO's "Succession" received 25 nominations, the most of the year, followed by Apple TV Plus' "Ted Lasso" with 20. "White Lotus," "Hacks," and "Euphoria" are some of the top nominees as well, with HBO/HBO Max bringing in 140 nominations in total.
