Britney Spears celebrated the anniversary of her husband Sam Asghari's marriage proposal.

Britney Spears has said she is not "crazy" or "dangerous" in a new post after a tumultuous few weeks of renewed family drama.

The pop star took to Instagram to share some new posts that included a video of her dancing and a brand new photo with her husband Sam Asghari.

In the video of her showing off some dance moves, the 40-year-old told fans she is "being the home girl people all know me to be."

"No sitting in chairs for 10 hours a day 7 days a week !!!" she continued, referencing her 13-year-long conservatorship in which she had no control over her personal or financial affairs.

"Y'all I am not scared anymore and you know what??? I'm not dangerous or crazy at all .classy people !!! Keep smiling y'all.keep smiling!!!" she said.

The post comes after Spears made a number of public statements directed toward her family in the past couple of weeks after her 15-year-old son Jayden James took part in an interview with his father Kevin Federline discussing their estrangement from the pop star.

Federline recently angered Spears' fans by sharing video footage of her arguing with their sons. It resulted in Spears lashing out at him and her sons on Instagram, celebrities voicing their support for the pop star and Spears' lawyers making a statement.

The former couple are parents to Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, and it has emerged that the singer has been estranged from her sons in recent months.

Until 2021, Spears had been living under a strict conservatorship, with all of her personal and financial decisions controlled by her father, Jamie, 70.

The singer's new husband Asghari has been supporting her on social media amidst the renewed family drama and earlier in September the Iranian-American actor and model shaded Federline on Instagram.

Spears married Asghari in June after five years together and the star has shared a photo to commemorate the anniversary of his proposal.

"The 12th is our one-year anniversary of getting engaged," she said in the caption.

They first met in 2016 when she selected him to be in her music video for "Slumber Party" and during a June 2021 court hearing regarding her conservatorship status, one of the big things she set out to do was to marry Asghari.

They tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on June 9 at her home in Thousand Oaks, California, which was attended by A-List stars including Madonna, Donatella Versace, Paris Hilton, Drew Barrymore and Selena Gomez.
