Jennifer Aniston recently shared an Instagram post posing with comedian Benito Skinner who rocked her famous Friends t-shirt that read: "Save Your Drama For Your Mama." The beloved actress, who was part of the core cast on the show, boasted great chemistry with her ragtag team of main, supporting as well as one-off characters.

Whilst much has been written and said about the brilliant core and supporting cast of Friends, it's time to shine a light on those who ended up becoming the most memorable, despite only appearing in one episode. Viewers have taken to Reddit to express which one-off characters they believe stole the limelight from the main cast.

In a thread asking for the favorite one-off character, Redditor tgwinford states, "Jill Goodacre obviously!" Jill, who appeared in season 1's "The One with the Blackout" found herself trapped in an NYC ATM vestibule with Chandler Bing.

Chandler got a little too excited when he clocked Jill and began to inner monologue about his situation. A series of goof-ups later, Jill saw him choking on gum, and rushed to give him the Heimlich maneuver. She not only saved Chandler's life but projected a calm aura all throughout the blackout. She is the episode's vehicle for physical comedy, and thus not difficult to see why she's the Redditor's favorite one-off character.

The same Reddit user, expands their comment, writing, "A serious one: Aurora. I wish they'd have explored that a little more than they did." Aurora appeared in season 1's "The One with the Butt" as Chandler's short-lived romance who had a knack for storytelling. Her polyamorous lifestyle was a cause of discomfort for the Chan-Chan Man, and he called it quits.

Aurora's past adventures made Chandler's day, and he'd later recount them to his friends. She is counted among Chandler's best girlfriends on Friends. Her honesty and open communication were her best traits, and it's understandable why the Redditor states her character should have been explored a tad bit more.

Brad Pitt's Will Colbert made his guest appearance in "The One with the Rumor" as Rachel's antagonist, and a founding member of Lincoln High's - "The I Hate Rachel Green Club." He was sarcastic, and he divulged juicy secrets throughout.

Will disliked Rachel because she was mean to him in high school, and he'd despised her ever since. He was critical of her excessive self-indulgence, and her school years as a meanie, and he wasn't being evasive about either of these things. The ladies of the gang - Monica, and Phoebe appreciated Will's good looks on more than one occasion, and the latter developed a tiny crush on him. Redditor Dr_MvN identifies Will and Lisa Kudrow's Phoebe Buffay as "the runaway stars" of the episode. They are correct because when Phoebe embraced Will, saying, "It's exactly how I'd imagined it would be," their chemistry just lit up the screen.

Hugh Laurie appeared in the second part of "The One with Ross's Wedding" as an anonymous airline passenger. He sat next to Rachel as she flew to London to disrupt Ross' wedding. He was tired of listening to her and Ross' romance story and put on his headphones to ignore her for the rest of the flight. Laurie's character is notable for his decisive remarks on Rachel and Ross' we-were-on-a-break argument. He let her know that he thought she and Ross were clearly on a break and that he agreed with Pheebs' saying that no good could come of letting Ross know that she loved him.

Laurie is Reddit user anntike's favorite cameo, and they write, "...my favorite was Hugh Laurie. As one fine Youtube commenter put it: "At the time it was airing: Who's the guy next to Rachel? - 10 years later: Who's the girl next to House?" Aside from Laurie's hilarious plane exchange with Rachel on Friends, he's most notable for starring in the medical drama series House.

Actor Vince Vieluf appeared in "The One with Joey's Award" as the New York University student - Ned Morse. He attempted to manipulate professor Geller in order to improve his failing grade, telling him that he couldn't concentrate in class because he'd fallen in love with him.

The change in Ned's inflection when Ross calls his bluff is a hit with the Redditors, with Reddit user StrawberryGirl_7 commenting, "The way [he] says "why??" Is what gets me every time." Ned's hilarious little show is counted among one of the best scenes in Ross' classroom from Friends, and the Redditor succinctly puts it, saying, "Ned Morse is a hilarious one-off character. That is all."

Danny DeVito's Officer Roy Goodbody is considered to be one of the most memorable one-off characters. He played the titular character of "The One Where the Stripper Cries," and thanks to him, the event is considered among one of the best parties on Friends. Commenting on Goodbody's presence, Reddit user keepingthisasecret writes, "Literally skipped ahead 5 seasons to watch that episode for him alone... What a beaut."

Officer Goodbody proved himself to be the most entertaining person at Phoebe's bachelorette party. Though the ladies were unimpressed by his physicality, it turned out he was a great entertainer who really could connect with his audience. The hen's night proved to be an inflection point in his life, he quit stripping and the ladies convinced him to teach it for a living.

Actor, Dan Castellaneta (voice of Homer Simpson on The Simpsons) appeared as the San Diego Zoo Janitor in "The One After the Superbowl: Part 1." He managed to provide a laugh for the audience through his quirky commentary about the zoo animals, and the corrupt zoo administration.

Reddit user kshump simply mentions that "Dan Castellaneta as the zoo janitor" is their favorite. Their choice is an easy favorite not only because his character - the zoo janitor provided Ross with valuable information, but because he said quirky things like, "denizen of the night" to describe a zoo possum, and "ambassador of the darkness" to describe a bat. Following his tip-off, Ross was able to reunite with Marcel in NYC on the sets of Outbreak 2: The Virus Takes Manhattan.

Actress Jennifer Coolidge made a cameo in "The One with Ross' Tan" playing Phoebe and Monica's old neighbor - Amanda Buffamonteezi. The character is Redditor alicelily's favorite, and they recount her hilarious humblebrag - "Can you believe it? I've never had any professional dance training" to remind viewers just how blatantly pompous her character was.

Before Amanda appeared in the show, Monica and Phoebe mentioned she'd moved to England, and picked up a fake English accent. She spoke in the most self-aggrandizing fashion and bemused Chandler with her horrific dance. Her lack of self-awareness provided the episode's vehicle for cringe comedy, and thus she's deserving of Friends' funniest guest characters title.

The titular character of "The One with the Dirty Girl" - Cheryl - despite her remarkable achievements in paleontology neglects her home hygiene. She meets Ross at the museum, and they end up having a great time until he discovers she lives in a filthy apartment.

Cheryl is Reddit user idwthis' favorite, and they emphasize, "I'm a little surprised no one has said Rebecca Romijn as the dirty girl Ross dated. I loved that this incredibly beautiful woman lived in such filth." Cheryl's approach to apartment hygiene is the major reason why she is an unforgettable character. It's perfectly obvious that she's lost awareness of her immediate surroundings, and her scenes with Ross at her apartment are sidesplitting. At the episode's end, Monica appears at her door offering to clean her place free of charge, but she slams the door in her face because she enjoys living in filth.
