Eating vegan at Universal Orlando has never been easier or tastier! I'm sharing the top plant based dining options you need to try during your next vacation.

As an annual passholder, I visit the parks quite often! In this post, I'm breaking down 6 popular vegan food options to try across Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and CityWalk.

Check out my Volcano Bay Travel Guide to learn about their attractions, dining, and more!

Due to my food allergies and dietary restrictions, I enjoy eating plant based while traveling. For those of you new here, I'm dairy free and egg free!

During my last trip, I was very impressed with the new allergy friendly dining options throughout the park. You're able to tell they're making strides to update menus to be more inclusive, as well as train staff better to be more aware.

Here are my top 2 picks for vegan dining and Universal Studios Florida.

If you're looking for a healthier breakfast, brunch, or lunch option - TODAY Cafe is your spot. The quick-service restaurant is inspired by the morning show with baked goods, fresh salads, and nourishing sandwiches.

The menu is clearly marked for food allergies and the cashier was knowledgeable about ingredients used in various items. The I Heart Vegan Sandwich was tasty and filling, without being too heavy. The perfect theme park lunch!

One of my favorite meals during our Universal vacation was at Finnegan's Bar & Grill! I was blown away with the high-quality authentic Irish dishes and cocktails.

The Vegan Sausage Wellington has plant-based Field Roast sausage wrapped in a pastry with vegetables, cabbage, and dijonnaise. It was very filling and delicious!

I suggest this full-service restaurant for dinner, as the food options were heartier and heavier.

During our recent trip, we spent a majority of our time in Islands of Adventure! It was our first time visiting since Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure and Jurassic World VelociCoaster opened.

For this section, I'll break it into 3 parts: Lunch, snack, and dinner!

Admittedly, this quick-service spot is rarely open. If you see a line, hop in it or place your mobile order!

The Vegan Pizza Tots are loaded with plant based pepperoni, sausage, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese. It was totally indulgent and comforting!

Their ooey-gooey but not too messy. I'd grab a fork along with some napkins and find a nice place in the shade or indoors to enjoy these loaded tater tots!

This award-winning full-service restaurant is hard to beat. Even if you can't make it in for a full meal, stop by for a snack or appetizer. The waitstaff was willing to check on several items in the kitchen and the menu was marked, as well.

I was able to request the Lemon Hummus be made vegan with veggies on the side instead of the herbed lavash and charred pita. The hummus was creamy and delicious with spiced chickpeas, olives, green onions, and smoked paprika.

Last up for Islands, let's head over to Hogsmeade! Three Broomsticks is classified as a quick-service restaurant but has more of a full-service feel to me. It's very popular so lines can get quite long.

The cashier was able to double check on food and drink options with the kitchen, so don't be nervous to ask questions or request to see an allergen friendly menu.

I was able to try the brand new Mushroom Pie Platter with stewed jackfruit and mushroom. It was served alongside a cucumber and tomato salad with a bright lemon thyme vinaigrette dressing. It was all very good and filling!

As of August 2022, Vegan Butterbeer is finally available! Just be sure to request your drink without the topping. For years the butter beer at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter was not vegan, as the topping contains dairy and cannot be ordered without it due to it being a trademarked drink.

Yes! Simply request a fresh pretzel without butter.

Yes, if you're looking for a vegan snack in the park - grab a popcorn bucket! The roasted nuts, fruit cups, and fresh fruit are vegan too.

End your awesome day with a vegan Voodoo donut! They offer plenty of vegan flavors, so be sure to check what they have available when you're visiting.

The line can get extremely long, so I recommend mobile ordering to skip the line and easily choose which flavors you want.

I hope this vegan guide to Universal was helpful in planning your upcoming trip. Be sure to comment additional tips for traveling vegan, ask any questions, and save this post to refer back to later!
