The View is officially back, but without one major person.
On September 6, a lively in-person audience greeted longtime View co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines, as well as newcomer Alyssa Farah Griffin. With that, the daytime TV talk show kicked off season 26, and the group immediately started sharing what they did over the summer. But while each one went around the table, folks watching from home couldn't help but notice that a certain panelist was missing from the premiere - Ana Navarro-Cárdenas.
On August 4, ABC announced that Alyssa and Ana would be joining The View cast as full-time co-hosts. Both TV personalities have gained a steady following from their frequent guest-hosting appearances. While Alyssa made her debut more recently in season 25, Ana has shared her opinions on and off for nearly a decade starting in 2013.

Though Alyssa revealed details about her quick move from Washington, D.C. to New York City for her new gig, there was no word about where Ana was. Unsurprisingly, The View fans quickly started asking questions.
"Where is Ana? ????????," one person wrote on Instagram. "We missed Ana today hopefully she'll be on tomorrow!" another added. "I don't understand why they can't tell us where is @ananavarro?" a different fan said on Twitter.

The next day, on September 7, Ana was also a no-show. But this may be intentional. According to ABC's press release, the political strategist will be juggling her View co-hosting duties with her commentating job on CNN and Telemundo. In other words, there's a good chance that Ana and Alyssa will alternate days at the table.
As for what she's currently up to, it looks like Ana just returned to her home in Coral Gables, Florida after taking a three-week trip to Europe. She enjoyed the sights in Portugal with her husband, Al Cárdenas, and made a pit stop in Madrid to see friends.
All that said, Ana should be stepping onto The View stage any day now!
