Celine Dion luxurious oceanfront Florida mansion has everything you could want and imagine, including it's very own water park in the backyard.

But when the Canadian pop star wanted to sell her extravagant dwelling, the official sale price wasn't anything close to what she asked for...

The expansive Palm Beach County property sits on over five acres and was built in 2010 by Dion and her late husband and manager René Angélil. The Bahamian-inspired home boasts 13 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, a guest house, golf simulator, and over 400 feet of ocean frontage. But what makes the mansion so unique is that it features a water park, which includes a lazy river, water cannons, slides, and a tree house.

The mansion initially hit the market for an eye- watering $72 million in August 2013. But the 20,000-square-foot estate in Jupiter Island actually sold for much, much less than the asking price.

Per the Palm Beach Daily News, it sold for $28 million, less than half the original asking price from nearly four years ago. The report also states the new buyer, who was not disclosed, will utilize the property as "a vacation home." Dion purchased the property for $7 million in 2008. The "Heart Will Go On" singer sold the property because she now spends most of her time in Las Vegas, where she lives with her family. The six-time Grammy winning artist downgraded to a $1.2million mansion which she shares with her three sons - René-Charles, Eddy and Nelson whom she shared with Angélil.

Last year, Celine Dion shared a heartbreaking tribute to her late husband Rene Angelil on the sixth anniversary of his death. The Oscar winner began her post on Instagram with lyrics from her 2019 song "Courage."

The caption read: "I would be lying if I said I'm fine, I think of you at least a hundred times, cause in the echo of my voice I hear your words just like you're there." The 53-year-old "Ashes" singer concluded the message by writing simply: "I miss you," repeating the sentiment in her native French.

Dion first met René Angélil, her future husband and manager, in 1980, when she was 12, and he was 38.

Dion wrote in her 2000 autobiography "My Story, My Dream" she kept a photo of Angélil under her pillow, writing, "Before I fell asleep, I slipped it under the pillow, out of fear that my mother, who always shared a room with me, would find it."

Their professional relationship eventually turned romantic after Dion's win at the Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin in 1988.

Angélil had been previously married twice before embarking on a relationship with Dion. He was married to his first wife Denyse Duquette for six years and had a son. He had two children with his second wife, singer Anne Reneé, with whom he was married for nearly ten years before separating in 1986. Dion has previously described Angélil as the love of her life. The "I Drove All Night" artist says that the music manager was the first and only man she's ever seen and the only man she's ever loved or kissed.
