The Avengers have figured out the perfect plan in their new series to stop an out-of-control Captain Marvel from destroying the team. To stop the powerful yet corrupted hero in All-Out Avengers #1 by Marvel Comics, Earth's Mightiest Heroes sends her through a portal into deep space. While it doesn't necessarily stop Captain Marvel, it does prevent her from attacking Earth, buying enough time to stop her before she returns to the planet.
Captain Marvel is one of the strongest heroes in the Marvel Universe and a valued member of the Avengers, who has helped the team in some of their greatest victories with her incredible powers. However, Captain Marvel tries to kill her fellow heroes after becoming infected during an alien attack in the new All-Out Avengers series from Marvel Comics. To stop the hero, the Avengers are deploying one of their most creative plans to date, taking Captain Marvel from the battle and transporting her far away without hurting her.

In All-Out Avengers #1 by Derek Landy, Greg Land, Jay Leisten, Frank D'Armata, and VC's Cory Petit from Marvel Comics, the book opens with readers being thrown directly into the action as an evil Captain Marvel asks the Avengers which one of them would like to die first. The Avengers take turns trying to stop Captain Marvel and her powers, as Thor and Iron Man are among the heroes who try to thwart their teammate, who has been corrupted during an alien attack. Once Captain Marvel overwhelms the team, Captain America throws a Sinnarian wormhole, sending Carol Danvers far from Earth.
Considering the Avengers couldn't take down Captain Marvel and her extraordinary powers as she became corrupted without potentially hurting her, choosing to stop her by throwing her into a wormhole and sending her far from Earth ends up being a genius plan. The Avengers state it will take Captain Marvel a few hours to get back to the planet, which they figure will be more than enough time for her infection to end.
Ultimately, the Avengers utilized the perfect plan to stop Captain Marvel, and frankly, any hero with incredible powers who becomes corrupted, in a non-lethal way. Sending Captain Marvel through an alien wormhole buys the Avengers enough time to figure out how to stop her if her infection doesn't ware off by the time she returns to Earth. The comic shows that if the Avengers ever need a couple of hours to stop Captain Marvel, sending her off-planet via a wormhole seems to be the perfect way to do so - at least when needed an immediate, temporary solution.
