The following article contains spoilers from Punisher #6, on sale now from Marvel Comics.

As Frank Castle's wife has already been resurrected by the Hand, the Punisher is also trying to bring his kids back to life; however, all attempts thus far have only turned his children into monster-like creatures.

Punisher #6 comes from Jason Aaron, Jesús Saiz, Paul Azaceta, Dave Stewart and VC's Cory Petit. Throughout the series so far, the Punisher has started working for a cult of deadly killers known as the Hand. While Frank is less than pleased with the arrangement, he's agreed to become the Hand's High Slayer in exchange for the resurrection of his long-dead wife, Maria Castle. Fed up with the Hand's sinister evildoings, Frank previously tried to escape the cult's compound with his wife, only to discover Maria can't leave the facility without dying again.

In Punisher #6, Marvel reveals Frank is also trying to bring his two children -- Lisa and Frank Jr. -- back to life. After nearly being killed in a battle with Ares, Frank finds himself back in the Hand's headquarters and demands the Archpriestess takes him to "them" immediately. The two enter a room and find a pair of corpses lying on a table, while multiple tubes containing a glowing serum are being injected into their bodies.

While the Archpriestess notes resurrecting children "always difficult," especially when they've been deceased longer than they've been alive, Frank is unenthused with the results. "This...is even worse than the last time," he mutters, implying this isn't the Hand's first attempt to bring his children back. "I'm afraid that every time we've tried and failed to produce...viable results, it's left less physical material to work with," the Archpriestess confirms. "Even the magic elixirs blessed by the Beast have their limits. And with your wife requiring more injections after her sojourn through the woods..."

The Archpriestess offers to begin another resurrection attempt, but Frank cuts her off. He orders everyone out of the room and stares at the two bodies for a moment before pulling out his sword. Frank is next scene throwing up nearby the Hand's compound, suggesting he may have killed them once and for all. Before he can mourn for too long, Daredevil shows up and demands Frank starts explaining why he's started working with the Hand.
