You don't have to travel to Napa for good wine. Texas has wine .and it's good! After all, Texas is the fifth-largest wine-producing region in the US! I can't count all the Texas wineries we have, but I know they are in every inch of the Lone Star State. Here is a list of all the Texas Wine Festivals and Events we have gathered thus far.

But first . did you know most wine festivals and events want to make everyone happy? In doing so, the program administrators offer fun activities for everyone and every age. So, if anybody in your group doesn't drink wine or your kids are with you, there will be activities they can participate in. I think that's a fabulous idea!
Here are a few fun things you can expect at wine festivals. Some are free, and some charge a fee.
With October being Texas Wine Month, expect many things to happen this month - including new wines coming out, tasting champion wines, and possibly finding your new favorites. What better way to find that perfect wine than to try it out at these festivals?
I found my favorite while attending the Texas Wine Trail in the Texas Hill Country in February 2022. Not only did I realize I'm a red wine lover, but Tempranillo has that taste that I love - so now, I ask for it first. If it's unavailable, I go to my second love - Cabernet Sauvignon.
The wine industry has exploded here in Texas, and I am super excited about that. I only started enjoying wine about a year ago.

Grapevine (North Texas)
Grapefest - September 15, 16, 17 & 18, 2022. I usually never miss this event. It's a good one. I volunteered last year in a beer booth, but it was so hot - not sure I'll do it again!!
Johnson City - THC
Vinovium will host the Texas Wine Jam on September 4th. Tickets are on sale now. Fifteen wineries, three bands, raffles, local vendors, and more.
Grape Stomp and Wine Festival - Sept. 17th. Tickets are available now to purchase for $10-$70.
The 3rd annual family-friendly festival celebrating Texas wine, food, and local artists - Glen Rose Wine and Art Fest on the Square will be held on Friday and Saturday, September 23-24, 2022, in the evening. Thursday evening will be their VIP Experience. Last year they sold out. This event sounds like a winner in my book.
Enjoy listening to some of the best musicians that Texas has to offer while strolling through and enjoying the atmosphere of the historic Glen Rose town square.
Tickets are on sale now for $35-$65. Prices go up after 9/20/22.
Southeast Texas Region
Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail
Join in October when they showcase all Texas has to offer from their member wineries. Wineries are located between I-45 and U.S. Highway 290. Tickets are on sale now for $30.
Piney Woods Wine Trail is the 2nd largest wine trail in Texas. It's in Lindale on Friday and Saturday, October 14-15, 2022. Tickets are on sale now at $15-$120.
Texas Wine Month - The 2022 Texas Wine Month Passport will be October 1-31. Tickets go on sale on August 10. Tickets are $85 for an individual and $120 for a couple. Be sure to read the rules, especially if you're going as a couple.
The North Texas Wine Country will partner with Windsong Ranch for its 8th Annual Windsong Wine & Music Festival Saturday, October 15th, 2022.
North Texas Wine Country Fall Wine Trail is scheduled all month in October.
Tasting Texas Wine + Food Festival - October 27-30, 2022. Tickets are on sale now.
36th Annual Gruene Music and Wine Fest 2022 - Oct 6-9, 2022, will celebrate wine, craft beer, food, and vendors.
Bending Branch Winery
Drink North Texas - North Texas Wine Country - November 5th.
Come on out to Austin on November 4-6, 2022, for the Austin Food Wine Festival
5th Annual Corpus Christy Wine Festival Sat, 3 pm - 11:59 pm at Heritage Park, 1581 N Chaparral St. Tickets are on sale now.
Texas Wine Trail The Christmas Wine Affair 2022 will be November 28th-December 23rd. Tickets go on sale on 10/21.

Wine & Wildflower Journey
April 29, 2023, 10 am - 6 pm. April 30, 2023, 11 am - 4 pm. Last year was a huge success, and The Bertram Festival will be back next year. Save the date!
Messina Hof Estate will celebrate its 39th anniversary of the budding of the vines and the roses blooming. More to come.
