Many Marvel fans are currently enjoying the light-hearted fun of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, but there are others who just want Endgame-level MCU projects and nothing else. The latest She-Hulk moment to be ridiculed online in memes and social media posts is episode 3's credits scene which saw Tatiana Maslany's She-Hulk twerking with guest star Megan Thee Stallion. While the scene was just another throwaway comedy moment that are part of She-Hulk's purpose, many have seemed to act as those this scene is the entire content of Phase 4 rather than just a fun shot. To try and remind people of the fun factor, a behind-the-scenes video reveals how the scene was shot and shows Maslany giving her all in a motion capture suit alongside the real 'Savage' rapper.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was pitched as a comedy series from the start, and at no point was it expected to be a serious part of the multiverse storyline even though it has contained plenty of connections to that wider MCU world. Writer Jessica Gao even went as far as to say that every post-credits scene used in the series was only for comedy purposes rather than making any big teases or revealing something new, so it is hard to understand why so many have taken issue with the latest episodes additional scene.

However, there are plenty of She-Hulk comic book fans out there who have countered the criticisms and pointed out that the kind of shenanigans going on in the series are the perfect embodiment of the character's original comics. With the series still having some way to go, there is no doubt this is an argument that hasn't run its course yet.

From the moment She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was announced, it was clear that the series was going to be another experimental project that, like WandaVision, was not going to conform to the usual template of the MCU. In doing so, the series has created another unique entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that breaks up some of the more serious storylines that have both been the core of Phase 4 and will continue into Phases 5 and 6.

When it comes to the seemingly infamous twerking scene, writer Jessica Gao recently revealed how the whole thing came about, and from a comedy point of view, was something that they weren't about to pass up on. She said:

"It was because Jameela Jamil knew her personally from working on 'Legendary'. And so when she brought her up, we were like, 'Wait, can that - is that real? Can that really happen? And because Tatiana is an incredible dancer, I wrote that extra little scene last minute, that little tag where they dance together, and hopefully it's one of the happiest days of her life because she, I mean, she was dancing with one of her favorite people on Earth."

For those who do want to be part of She-Hulk's madness, new episodes drop on Disney+ each week, with the first three available now.
