Nottingham's motorists will have eight road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
. A50, from 8pm September 2 to 6am September 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 northbound and southbound, junction 23 to junction 25, Lane closure due to works on behalf of HW Martin.
. A453, from 8pm February 23 to 6am September 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A453 northbound and southbound, Silverdale roundabout, carriageway, slip road and lane closures with 24/7 narrow lanes due to improvement works, diversion via National Highways network.
. A42, from 8pm April 11 to 6am October 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 northbound and southbound, junction 23 to junction 25, slip road and lane closure for construction works, diversion via national Highways network.
And a further five closures will begin over the next seven days:
. A52, from 8pm September 5 to 6am September 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A52 eastbound, Nottingham Knight to Wheatcroft, Lay by and lane closure for works being undertaken on behalf of STW.
. A453, from 8pm September 5 to 6am September 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A453/A52 northbound and southbound, Clifton (Mill Hill roundabout) to Wilford, Lane closures due to maintenance work.
. A453, from 8pm September 6 to 5am September 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A453 northbound and southbound, Crusader Roundabout, Lane closure due to maintenance works.
. A52, from 9pm September 9 to 6am September 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A52 westbound, Wilford to Lenton, Lane closures due to maintenance work, diversion via National Highways network.
. A52, from 8pm to 11pm on September 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A52 eastbound, QMC roundabout, Lane closures due to maintenance work.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
