The debut of All-Out Avengers highlights how powerful Captain Marvel really is.

A preview for the new Avengers series written by Derek Landy and artist Greg Land shows Iron Man/Tony Stark and Thor fighting against an evil Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, who has been warped by a threat called the Dark Tide. After promising to kill both Avengers, Captain Marvel makes quick work of Thor and launches the thunder god far away with a single punch, then shifting her brutality onto Tony. While the two heroes may have been holding back so as not to harm their brainwashed friend, the moment reiterates why Captain Marvel is regarded as one of the strongest Avengers.

All-Out Avengers is a new series that features the lineup of heroes Captain America (Steve Rogers), Iron Man, Thor, Spider-Man (Peter Parker), Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Blade and Spider-Woman. A few of these heroes also star on the Avengers team penned by writer Jason Aaron in The Avengers, a title that has been ongoing since 2018. How many issues All-Out Avengers will run for remains to be seen, but Aaron's era on Avengers will soon come to a close.

Announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, the Avengers Assemble Alpha one-shot written by Aaron with art by Bryan Hitch will be the beginning of the end of the writer's work with the super team, the Avengers Forever series and the Avengers of 1,000,000 B.C. Before the one-shot releases in November, Marvel readers can witness the Avengers fighting both the X-Men and Eternals in the A.X.E.: Judgement Day event releasing throughout the summer and into Fall 2022.
