GRAY, MAINE - The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for Sunday and Monday in New Hampshire.
Around 3 a.m., forecasters warned of rain showers and a few afternoon thunderstorms impacting the region from Sunday afternoon to Monday evening or Tuesday morning. The storms were due to "a slow-moving front" coming through New England southward.
"Localized downpours can be expected with these rounds of showers, which may result in minor flooding of urban, low-lying, and poorly drained areas," the alert stated.
AccuWeather.com warned residents in the northeast to expect warm temperatures, too.
According to the site's timeline, after temps reach the lower 80s in the early afternoon, storms are expected around 4 p.m. and between 9 and 11 p.m. in Concord and the capital region. In Nashua and central Hillsborough and Rockingham counties, storms are expected around 6 p.m. and again at 11 p.m. On the Seacoast, expect storms around 7 and 9 p.m.
The NWS said showers were expected after 3 p.m. on Monday, into the evening Monday, and possibly Tuesday morning, too.
