Happy birthday, Zendaya!
On September 1, the actor celebrated her 26th birthday with her boyfriend Tom Holland in New York City. The pair were photographed outside the restaurant MAMO wearing semi-coordinated ensembles. While Holland wore a blue plaid flannel with turquoise corduroy pants and Adidas sneakers, Zendaya reaffirmed her status as a master of transitional dressing in a cropped, long-sleeved navy cardigan, low-rise jeans, and stilettos. The Euphoria star's blowout was voluminous as ever and Zendaya topped off the look with simple gold jewelry. You can see the photos here.
"I get to spend the day responding to the most beautiful messages (sorry I'm a little late)," Zendaya wrote on Instagram the following day alongside an adorable throwback photo. "Thank ya'll for filling my heart with so much love, I couldn't be more grateful ?? Here's to 26!"
While Holland is taking a break from social media (and was physically present on her birthday), plenty of other stars sent their love in the comments section. "Happy birthday boob :'))," Zendaya's Euphoria costar Hunter Schafer wrote, while Victoria Beckham replied, "Happy Birthday!!!! Kisses from us all! X."
Kerry Washington also commented on the post, writing, "Happy happy happy birthday beautiful!!!!!! Xoxoxoxo."
It's been over a year since Zendaya was spotted kissing her Spider-Man costar Tom Holland in July 2021 after years of relationship rumors and speculation. Recently, Holland was reportedly spotted taking a 4,350-mile commercial flight to visit Zendaya on the set of the second Dune movie in Hungary just as criticism over celebrity private jet travel reached an all-time high.
The couple were originally told not to date by Spider-Man exec Amy Pascal, but waved off her concerns in favor of surprise date nights in Italy and matching hockey jerseys. "I took Tom and Zendaya aside, separately, when we first cast them and gave them a lecture: 'Don't go there-just don't. Try not to,'" Pascal told the New York Times. "I gave the same advice to Andrew [Garfield] and Emma [Stone]. It can just complicate things, you know? And they all ignored me."
In June, Zendaya marked Holland's 26th birthday with a sweet Instagram tribute, writing, "Happiest of birthdays to the one who makes me the happiest."
