When you're faced with bringing a dish to share at a holiday party this summer, there are so many options that will both travel well and please the pickiest of palates. What BBQ recipes will you bring?

The sun is out, the family is gathering. It must be time for a holiday barbecue, right? Grab your lawn games and get ready for great fun - just add food.

Holiday recipes that travel well are a must for all celebrations. No one wants a casserole spilled all over their floorboards, right? The following easy recipes both travel well and are perfect for BBQ occasions. With something for every meal, these BBQ recipes will help your family eat well when you're away from home.

Start your mornings off right with something hearty. Recipes like Pancakes with Campfire Grilled Peaches and Pecans from Fresh Off the Grid can be made easily while camping and don't require refrigeration of the ingredients. What I love most about this recipe is that it's not just campfire ready, but cooking on an open fire ready too.

Grilled Avocado and Eggs, a recipe by The Cozy Cook, is also an easy-to-transport option that you assemble and cook on the barbecue. Creamy avocado. Warm eggs. What's not to love?

Of course, if cooking on the go isn't for you, then this recipe for make-ahead Breakfast Burritos from Fabulously Frugal right be just right for your family. The hearty burritos are made ahead of time and stuffed with sausage, potatoes, eggs and cheese. Then they are rolled up, wrapped in foil and kept cool until it's time to throw them on the campfire or grill. It's easy and reheating is a breeze.

Of course, sometimes the easiest meal solution is the one you don't have to fuss with before serving. Muffins, for instance, can be made ahead, don't need refrigeration and are simple to serve. Why not whip up a batch of Blueberry Streusel Muffins or Rhubarb Muffins before your next gathering?

Pick up some fresh clams, keep ''em cold and then whip up some Grilled Garlic Butter Clams for the guests. Seafood lovers will adore the bold flavors in these.

Planked Goat Cheese Stuffed Peppadews are easy to assemble (fill them with goat cheese ahead of time!) and then cook quickly on the barbecue.

Or how about this Grilled Brie? With a delightful peach and balsamic reduction, how fun would that be to serve?

Grilled Sriracha Hot Wings require some prep ahead of time such as seasoning the chicken wings and assembling the sauce, but cook up easily on a hot grill.

Ok, but what about the main dish? There are so many recipes that travel well and can be cooked on a barbecue. You can barbecue ribs, for instance, on a charcoal grill or a gas grill. The pork ribs tutorial can also be used for baby back ribs. Hamburgers and hot dogs are also an American barbecue classic. They travel well and are a cinch to make.

But what about making some special burgers for your celebration like Blue Cheese Stuffed Burgers? Form the stuffed patties ahead of time, transport them chilled and cook when you're ready.

If you like pork chops, they are prime for marinating in an airtight container, keeping chilled in a cooler and cooking on the barbecue. This sweet-tart, gingery recipe for Marinated Grilled Pork Chops that uses lime juice, apple juice and more in the marinade is a crowd-pleaser. Grilled Pork Tenderloin can be a wonderfully juicy main dish as well. Serve it with homemade barbecue sauce, such as a Kansas City-style BBQ Sauce.

A grilled BBQ Chicken Pizza can have a lot of components, but it's easy to assemble and eat. Topped with red onions, corn, bell peppers and more, it's pretty hearty too.

Skewers are easy to make and serve, plus are a cinch to transport. Grilled Lemon Basil Pesto Chicken Kabobs with Zucchini, for instance, use some of summer's freshest flavors in an Italian-inspired dish. Or try Grilled Chicken, Ham and Pineapple Kabobs for a sweet and savory take on skewers. Not looking for a chicken recipe? Marinated Steak Skewers are another great option.

You can even make grilled lasagna in single-serve portions. And yes, they travel well!

Don't want to fuss with grilling recipes while enjoying the party? Then make-ahead dishes are right for you. Break out the slow cooker for Sweet and Spicy Pulled Pork, which makes excellent pulled pork sandwiches with a homemade barbecue sauce. Smoky Slow Cooker Beef Brisket also makes great sandwiches.

Classic Potato Salad and Classic Coleslaw also travel well. Keep these salads chilled until you're ready to dig in. For a barbecue-ready salad that's a step outside the ordinary, try Asian Napa Cabbage Slaw with Peanut Sauce or Roasted Tomato, Basil and Chickpea Pasta Salad.

Foil packets are a great way to make side dishes on the barbecue. Foil Packet Carrots with Garlic and Basil, for instance, are a fresh, flavorful side dish for enjoying with whatever else you're grilling. Another flavorful summer grilling side dish is Grilled Summer Squash with Tomatoes and Garlic. Cooked in a foil packet, the flavors come together with bits of caramelization for a delightful dish.

Corn with Chili Lime Butter is cooked in foil and then slathered with a flavorful compound butter - an elegant offering that travels well and tastes amazing.

Even desserts can be made on the grill. Recipes like Grilled Raspberry Cheesecake Turnovers can be made in advance and kept in a cooler until it's time to cook and serve.
