The spoilers for Black Clover Chapter 336 are out before its official release and confirm Asta's return to an unknown land.
The start to any story's final arc couldn't be any better than what we are witnessing in Black Clover. Just the first few episodes of The Ultimate Wizard King are out, and we have seen the dark fate for Sister Lily, and the previous chapter even questioned Asta's survival. Luckily, the spoilers for the upcoming chapter promise a safe return for our hero. We saw Yuno, Mimosa, Noelle, Nero, and the Captains' return in the previous chapter, alongside the introduction to a new force called Paladins.

The new chapter will start with the people of the kingdom talking about the current situation. The truth about Lucius is no longer a secret, and the people are afraid of what will happen next. While the discussion is going on, Yuno appears with a ferocious look on his face. On the other hand, Mimosa, Noelle, and Nero are seen with mixed expressions of remorse and shock.
Next, we see Nacht, who has the ability to sense shadows. But he explains that he isn't able to sense Asta's shadow, which means that he's either in a different dimension, some other continent, or worst of all, he's dead. Nacht then recalls the incident from the Spade battle, where a devil was observing them from a distance. He then concludes that the devils are sent by Lucius as a diversion, and they form a kind of chain that connects them to the underworld.
Fuego wonders if Lucius has some sort of mind manipulation technique that he used on Sister Lily. But, as we all saw previously, it wasn't mind manipulation. Instead, he used Soul Magic on her. The next panel takes us to the past when Yuno was promoted as the Grand Magic Knight, and Asta said to Yuno that he was always one step ahead of him. But Yuno, in turn, realizes that Asta was the one who was always one step ahead.
The scene then cuts to Lucius and Adrammelech, where the latter reports about Yuno's capabilities he witnessed while he was defeating the high-ranking devils. Lucius then states that he has seen the outcome of the events, and his chance of losing to Yuno is only 0.001%. Lucius promises to crush Yuno for the sake of world peace; on the other hand, Yuno is determined to kill Lucius and become the Wizard Kind. At the end of the chapter, Asta is seen at an unknown place, and a mysterious figure says, "Oh, there you are."
