While Avatar: The Last Airbender always had a cult following that never really died down, new life was breathed into the series when ATLA was finally brought to Netflix in May 2020. With Avatar Studios being announced in 2021, fans know they have new Avatar content to look forward to for a long time to come.

Naturally, this means that there have been a ton of figures and statues for popular ATLA characters that have either been made or re-released within the last two years to capitalize on all the buzz surrounding the series again. While there are countless figures out there for Avatar, only a select few can stand above them as the best.
Appa is the beloved, cuddly flying bison that transports Aang's gang around throughout Avatar: The Last Airbender, and he's always been a fan-favorite. Running Press' mini Appa figure is a three-inch figurine that actually includes a growling sound feature.
The Appa figure also comes with a thirty-two-page paperback which includes quotes and full-color art from the show. It launches on November 1st, 2022, but is available for pre-order at the moment for only 15 USD.
Airbenders are typically portrayed as peaceful, but the art of airbending can also be an incredibly quick and powerful force, if necessary. Quantum Mechanix does an excellent job showing off the power of airbending in action with their Aang Q-Fig, complete with a bonus Momo.
Standing at nin inches tall, this particular Aang figure is packed with detail, from the log he's standing on to the gusts of wind whipping up all around him. It's not terribly expensive for a figure, either, coming in at 50 USD.
Any Zuko fans looking to pick up a figure of the furious firebender in action will have to hurry. The pre-order for Dark Horse Comics' Zuko figure, expected to ship sometime between this November and January, is low on stock.
This beautiful Zuko figure shows his fiery punches in action and stands at a total of seven inches tall. This particular Zuko figure will set fans back about 60 USD, but that's not terribly expensive for a figure of this quality.
Stationary figures aren't the only kind that Avatar fans are able to get their hands on. There are also posable action figures that allow for an expressive range of movement, with McFarlane Toys' Aang With Momo figure being particularly impressive.

This seven-inch Aang comes with a whopping total of twenty-two posable parts for fans to play with however they like. It even includes an adorable Momo, plus a way for the pet to sit on Aang's hand. To top it all off, this figure is incredibly cheap, only costing a total of 20 USD.
There are a ton of talented toy companies that produce figures for Avatar, but McFarlane Toys deserves a special, second shoutout for the quality of their Appa figure. This five-inch Appa figure is incredibly detailed, from his expression all the way to his individual tufts of fur.
What really sets this Appa apart is its ability to hold other five-inch McFarlane Toys' figures in the saddle, as seen with Aang above. Similar to their Aang action figure, Appa is relatively affordable as well, coming out to a total of 25 USD - saddle-riding figure not included.
Youtooz figures have skyrocketed in popularity over the last few years. While these figures are typically collaborative works involving Youtubers, Twitch streamers, or other well-known content creators, they've branched out into making anime figures as well, such as this adorable Toph.
This Toph stands at just under five inches, showing off her earthbending, and great attention to detail is shown with every part of this figure. The fact that her eyes are a different color from the rest of Youtooz' Avatar figures to represent her blindness is a nice touch, and it'll only run fans about 30 USD.
It's hard to find a four-piece figure set cuter or more affordable than the Avatar set by Little People Collection. Each of the four mini-figures stands at two-and-a-half inches tall, and they're relatively detailed compared to their small size.
If the figures themselves weren't cute enough, the box that they come in is designed to make it appear as if all four of them are flying on Appa's back, which is a nice touch for those who keep their collectibles in the package. This is the cheapest fans will be able to get four figures in one, with the set only costing 25 USD.
Katara is a talented waterbender even at the start of the series, and her skills only continue to grow as she travels and receives true mentorship for her bending. Diamond Select Toys' Katara diorama shows off her strength while still being a beautiful figure.

Katara herself is incredibly detailed, but what's most impressive about this particular figure is the translucent water all around her. She stands at a total of nine inches tall, and typically sells for 50 USD - though, as of the time of writing, this particular Katara is on sale for 45 USD.
Funko Pops and Youtooz are likely the first two brands to pop into most collectors' minds when they think about chibi figures, but they're not the only ones who can create a compelling miniature. This three-inch Cheebee Sokka, made by The Loyal Subjects, manages to show off his personality well.
His expression is the perfect mixture of serious and goofy that Sokka is known for, and the mini boomerang in his left hand is adorable. This is one of the cheapest figures available, costing only 11 USD.
Iroh is one of the most beloved characters in all of Avatar, thanks to the guiding role he helps play in Prince Zuko's life. He's a laid-back individual who loves drinking tea and taking it easy, with Funko Pop's Iroh figure being a great representation of this.
This Iroh Funko Pop stands at just under four inches tall, and even with the highly stylized faces that Funko Pops are known for, Iroh's personality comes out quite well. This is another cheaper figure for anyone on a budget, and will only run fans a total of 15 USD.
