Richardson Adventure Farm is an adventure like no other, leaving memories you won't make anywhere else. Nowhere else offers a 700' zip-line, live pig races or the world largest corn maze, well nowhere other than Richardson Adventure Farm!
You and the family can stop by the picnic tables to get the game plan together for the attack on the Adventure Farm. There are 2 pedal kart tracks, a playground, 40' mini zip-line, Bunnyville, carousel, and petting zoo for the little kids, the big kids can enjoy the 700' zip-line, ORBiting down the slope, gemstone mining, and the world's largest corn maze. The whole family will like the campfires and pumpkin patch.
Richardson Adventure Farm has the world's largest corn maze spanning 28 acres of live corn with over 9 miles of trails throughout the maze. The entire maze is created by four separate mazes. There are checkpoints along the maze and a bridge you can take a moment to get yourself back on the right track if you feel you've faltered. The way to solve the maze is through the checkpoints, but if you find yourself needed to take a time out, you can easily find your way out. I LOVE the fact that there are NO dead ends, and several games available - for each age range!
Visiting the pumpkin patch is a lot of fun, if you are not up for picking your own pumpkin you'll be able to make a selection from the pre-picked pumpkins. Walking through the pumpkin patch is a fun way to see where your pumpkin will be coming from. In the pumpkin patch you'll also see the gourds and squash that are grown. Richardson Adventure Farm grows many different varieties of pumpkins, squash, and gourds. To name a few baby boo, Atlantic Giant, Cinderella, Birdhouse gourd, and so many more. If you and your family are visiting on the weekend you can hitch a ride on the wagon ride to be taken to the pumpkin patch and after you've picked the perfect pumpkin for decorating the wagon ride will bring you back. Or, if you would rather, you can climb the 50 foot tower and chuck a pumpkin off of it! (Miss Sarah thought it was a hoot!)
If you're thinking about adding something a little different to your outing at Richardson Adventure Farm then you are in luck. There are a few different packages available to have the best time that no one joining you will forget. Picnic and campfire rentals are available in 5 different sizes according to the size of your group. The picnic and campfire areas can be added in conjunction with a visit to the corn maze or can be individual making Richardson's the perfect location for a family get together, birthday party, a scouts meeting, or an outing for groups and clubs. Campfire sites can be used for four hours at a time firewood is provided. It's a perfect "home base" for larger families or small groups to use when they visit.
I love the repurposed items that you see all over - like this corn bins that became "snack shops". This is the donut bin - and well worth a stop (weekends only) to get one of the most ah-ma-zing donuts you have ever let grace your lips. Seriously.
But hey, if you would rather, they also have a Fudge Bin and Kettle Corn Bin. Private hayrides are available for an additional fee. Ride in style with just your family, friends, or group throughout the Farm and to various activities. Take some time to visit Richardson Adventure Farm - ride the train, carousel, watch the pigs race, hit the petting zoo, loose yourself in the maze (you can't!) and munch on fun treats! It is a great family adventure!
