New York (Knewz) - It's important to remember to dance in life - just maybe not during field sobriety tests.
A Florida woman decided to show off her ballet moves during a recent traffic stop. Her prize for being the top dancer, a nice set of handcuffs.
Amy Harrington was arrested on April 27 on a DUI charge by the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office in Florida.
Body camera footage was recently released from her arrest, and it has gone viral.
A deputy responded to a rear-end crash and found Harrington, according to Fox 13. Harrington had slurred speech and was unsteady on her feet. She refused to provide a breath test to deputies.
The body camera video showed a deputy giving field sobriety tests. At one point, Harrington told the deputy she thought his instructions were "ridiculous," according to the report.
Harrington then decided to use the parking lot as a stage and showed off various dance moves, including ballet.
A deputy asked her to walk along a yellow line and Harrington exclaimed, "Oh my God! You sound like my [expletive] ballet coach," according to Fox 13. It was then time to show off her dance moves.
Harrington continued to dance instead of following the deputy's instructions.
As the police became less amused, the suspected drunk driver told them, "if you're going to arrest me, just do it now."
They obliged and put her in handcuffs and took her dancing shoes.
