Atlanta's dining scene continues its recovery after two years of uncertainties, while also adjusting to the new realities brought on by the pandemic. But despite the upheaval, new restaurants, bars, and coffee shops are opening nearly every week in Atlanta and in cities across the metro area. It's hard to keep track.

Below is a running list of the latest openings to know each month, updated bi-weekly with new additions as more restaurants and bars open for business around town.

English Avenue: Westside Motor Lounge transforms three acres on the edge of English Avenue into three distinct dining, drinking, and entertainment spaces in early October.

East Atlanta Village: TKO, a Korean-American pop-up from chef Lino Yi, opens as a permanent food stall in September at Southern Feedstore in East Atlanta Village.

Berkeley Park: El Patio Dominican restaurant is open for takeout and delivery at Forrest Eatery ghost kitchen.

Buckhead: Knife Modern Mediterranean opens August 17, on Piedmont Road.

Buckhead: Shake Shack opens August 3 at Lenox Square.

Camp Creek Parkway: Dat Fire Jerk Chicken opens a second location on Camp Creek Parkway.

Candler Park: Gigi's Italian Kitchen reopened for dinner, transforming from weekly pop-up to full-fledged restaurant in the former Gato space on McClendon.

Decatur: Platez Southern Kitchen and Cocktailz opens August 19 on Clairemont Avenue at the Courtyard by Marriott.

Doraville: The Bun Factory opened in the former Melody Hot Pot (and before that Chef Liu) space at Pinetree Plaza on Buford Highway.

Dunwoody: North Italia is now open on Ashford Dunwoody Road.

Home Park/Howell Mill: Hattie B's Hot Chicken officially opens for business August 3 at the corner of 10th Street and Howell Mill Road.

Reynoldstown: Wylie and Rum, a Caribbean restaurant and rum bar, is now open on Moreland Avenue on the border between the Reynoldstown and Edgewood neighborhoods.

Sandy Springs: Azucar Cuban Cafe opened next door to Three Dollar Cafe on Roswell Road.

Virginia-Highland: Mai Kitchen, a Vietnamese restaurant owned by Alex Kinjo of MF Sushi, is now open on North Highland.

Alpharetta: Bocado Burger in Alpharetta is now Bocado, a rebrand that sees the return of popular menu items from the former west side Atlanta restaurant.

Alpharetta: Cubanos ATL opened its fifth location inside Alpharetta's new Fetch Park.

Armour: Capella Cheese opens in Armour Yards July 9.

Avondale Estates: Flour and Time vegan bakery is now open on Center Street.

Buckhead: Dorian Gray opens on West Paces Ferry Road on July 25.

Castleberry Hill: Smokey Stallion barbecue restaurant is now open in the former Smoke Ring space on Nelson Street.

Decatur: Ren By Budi's [Sushi] is open for breakfast, Indonesian dishes, and ramen on West Ponce.

Decatur: La Chiquiada is now open on West Trinity Place for Mexi-Cali fare from breakfast through dinner, cocktails, coffee, beer, and wine.

Doraville: KPop BBQ and Bar opened on Buford Highway.

Doraville: Mama's Banh Mi is now open on Buford Highway.

Downtown: Margaritaville, the Jimmy Buffett-themed restaurant with three bars, is open at the 22-story hotel complex Margaritaville Vacation Club and Club Wyndham resort tower.

Fayetteville: Sensu Sushi Restaurant and Bar opened at Town Centre at Trilith.

Midtown: By Weight and Measure cocktail bar is now open in the Collective at Coda food hall near Georgia Tech.

Midtown: T's Brunch Bar is now open on Peachtree.

Alpharetta: Fetch Park is open on Maxwell Road.

Austell: Paige's Pastries and Bistro is open on Veteran's Memorial Highway.

Brookhaven: The Ashford, a neighborhood restaurant, is now open in the former Pour space on Dresden Drive.

Buckhead: North Italia is open at Lenox Square Mall.

Buckhead: 5Church opened June 3 in the former Sage Woodfire Grill space on Lenox.

Chamblee: Full Taste Vegan just relocated to Peachtree Boulevard and now includes a patio and private dining room.

Decatur: Glide Pizza is open inside new brewery Inner Voice Brewing.

Doraville: Pelicana Korean Fried Chicken is open on Peachtree Road.

Duluth: Snackboxe Bistro, the second location of the Lao restaurant from Thip Athakhanh and Vanh Sengaphone, is now open on Day Drive.

Emory: SriThai Thai Kitchen & Sushi Bar -Emory is now open at Emory Point off of Clifton Road.

Howell Mill/The Interlock: Leave of Absence (LOA), a sprawling Mediterranean resort-style pool, bar, and restaurant combo, opens in mid-June on the rooftop of the Interlock.

Midtown: Xi'an Gourmet House is open on Spring Street for xi'an-style noodles and Chinese burgers.

Midtown: Lantana, the new lobby bar and lounge at the rebranded Starling hotel, is now open at Colony Square.

Old Fourth Ward: One Flew South Southern restaurant and sushi bar is open in the former Hazel Jane's Wine bar space on the Eastside trail.

Ponce City Market: Umbrella Bar, a restaurant and bar stall serving Korean street foods and cocktails, is now open in the expanded portion of the central food hall.

Ponce City Market: Buenos Dias Cafe, a food stall serving pupusas, is now open next to doughnut shop Five Daughters Bakery in the central food hall.

Poncey-Highland: East Pole Coffee Co. is open in the former San Fransisco Coffee space at at Plaza on Ponce, next door to recently opened Fishmonger.

Poncey-Highland: Jinya Ramen Bar is open at the Plaza on Ponce complex, beside East Pole Coffee.

Poncey-Highland: Tio Lucho's is open in the former CO Sushi space on North Highland Ave.

Summerhill: D Boca N Boca, a Mexican restaurant and tequila bar from the Real Mexican Vittles owner Helio Bernal, is now open on Georgia Avenue.

Vinings: Park 82, an upscale neighborhood restaurant, is open in the former Adalina space at the MAA Riverside complex off of Northside Parkway.

Alpharetta: Fogon and Lions, a Spanish restaurant centered on wood-fired dishes, is now open in downtown Alpharetta on Roswell Street.

Buckhead: The Americano, a swanky Italian steakhouse from celebrity chef Scott Conant, is open inside the InterContinental Hotel.

Chamblee: Distillery of Modern Art is open on Irvindale Way distilling vodka and gin, and eventually whiskey and a variety of liqueurs, as well as for cocktails.

Decatur: Kindred, a neighborhood restaurant and bar backed by the owners of Oak Grove Market, is now open on Lavista Road.

Grant Park: Howdy ATL Biscuit Cafe is open in the former Grant Park Coffeehouse space across from Zoo Atlanta on Cherokee Avenue.

Howell Mill Road/the Interlock: Guac y Margys is now open at the Interlock on Howell Mill Road.

Jonesboro: Veganish ATL, a vegan and vegetarian food truck park, is now open on Tara Boulevard. Some pescatarian food businesses will also be on site.

Marietta: Cubanos ATL owner Ozzy Llanes begins serving his popular Cuban sandwiches from Belen De La Cruz Empanadas and Pastries, starting May 25.

Midtown: Shake Shack is open outside the gates to the 12th Street entrance to Piedmont Park at the Piedmont Park Conservancy Community Center.

Old Fourth Ward: Slabtown Public House, backed by chef Kevin Gillespie, is open, replacing Cold Beer on the Eastside Beltline trail and serving everyday dining and pub food favorites.

Poncey-Highland: Fishmonger, a seafood market, cafe, and raw bar from Nhan Le and Skip Engelbrecht (8ARM, Octopus Bar) and chef Bradford Forsblom, is now open on North Highland Avenue.

Reynoldstown: ParkGrounds Cafe and Coffee Shop debuts its new beer garden, replacing the off-leash dog park there. Dogs welcome on leashes.

Roswell: Casa Robles, a Spanish-Latin American restaurant from the owners of Table and Main, is now open on Oak Street.

Sandy Springs: NoriFish, an omakase restaurant in Sandy Springs backed by Justin Lim and chef Sean Park of Okiboru Tsukemen and Ramen, is open on Springwood Connector.

Sweet Auburn/Old Fourth Ward: Illegal Food, a pop-up operated by chef Steven Lingenfelter and Laurie Dominguez, begins a residency at Sister Louisa's Church May 25.

Summerhill: D Boca N Boca, a Mexican gastropub from Real Mexican Vittles mobile kitchen owner Helio Bernal, opens May 26 along Georgia Avenue.

Athens: Slutty Vegan is open on Baxter Street on the edge of the UGA campus.

Buckhead: Saint-Germain Bakery and cafe is now open at Buckhead Village.

Buckhead: Karma Farm is now reopened after relocating to Powers Ferry Square on Roswell Road.

Cascade Heights: Oreatha's at the Point opens April 13 in the Cascade Heights neighborhood with a menu inspired by home-cooked meals from moms from around the globe.

Decatur: The Kitchen at the King Kabob, owned by chef Chase Davis, opens on East Ponce on Saturday, April 9.

Downtown: Alma Cocina, a Latin American restaurant, reopens Saturday, April 30, after temporarily closing two years ago for the pandemic.

Emory Village/Atlanta: Baker Dude is now open in the former Rise and Dine space, serving breakfast, lunch, and whole pizzas on the menu.

Howell Mill/The Interlock: Kinjo Room, a sushi and Japanese restaurant from the team behind MF Sushi, is now open at the Interlock.

Marietta: B.A.D Gyal Vegan is open at Marietta Square Market food hall serving vegan Jamaican soul food on the menu.

Marietta: MamiTaco is now open on Whitlock Avenue in northern Marietta.

Marietta Boulevard/Moores Mill: Spiller Park Coffee opens its third and largest Atlanta location on April 22 at the Publix-anchored Moores Mill Center.

Old Fourth Ward: Adele's, a restaurant based in Nashville centering on "California cuisine" and "rustic" Italian dishes, is now open beside Biggerstaff Brewing on Edgewood Avenue.

Old Fourth Ward/Ponce City Market: Excuse My French cocktail bar, backed by restaurateur Aaron Mattison (Bar Vegan), is now open inside artisan marketplace Citizen Supply on the second floor of the food hall.

Poncey-Highland: Fishmonger, a fish market and raw bar from chef Nhan Le and Skip Englebrecht (8ARM), opens April 27 at the Plaza on Ponce.

Underwood Hills/Chattahoochee Food Works: Patty and Franks burger and hot dog stall, owned by chef Andrew Zimmern, is open at Chattahoochee Food Works. Mozza Bella Italian Eatery takes over the Pomodoro Bella pizza stall at the food hall and Perfect Seasoning Jamaican food stall takes over the Graffiti Breakfast space there.

West End: Grass VBQ Joint closes in Stone Mountain and relocates back to Atlanta to Oak Street Eats. Currently at Triton Yards on Sylvan Road until the end of April when it moves to Oak Street Eats.

Alpharetta: Food Terminal, a Malaysian restaurant first opened on Buford Highway, opens its third area location March 8 in the former Fuddruckers space on North Point Parkway.

Buckhead: Brassica is now open at the Waldorf Astoria in Buckhead, and it includes cocktail lounge Peacock Alley and afternoon tea service at the Solarium.

Buckhead: Pala, an Italian bakery and gelateria serving paninis, pane alla Romana, and dessert from Antico owner Giovanni Di Palma, opens on West Paces Ferry Road.

Buford: The Halal Guys opens at the Exchange at Gwinnett on March 12.

Chamblee: Bamee Tee bánh mì and milk tea shop should open March 1 on Buford Highway.

Chamblee: Layaly Cafe opens on Clairmont Road for kababs, falafel, lamb shank, spanakopita, and shawarma.

Chamblee: D'Cuban Cafe is now open on Chamblee Dunwoody Road.

Decatur: Boho 115 is now open in the former Square Pub for ceviches, fresh fish, Argentinian steak, and empanadas paired with pisco sours and classic daiquiris.

Decatur: Ms. Icey's Kitchen and Bar reopened on Clairmont after a three-month closure.

Decatur: Los Ninos Taqueria is now open next to Piece of Cake on East College Avenue.

Downtown: Gusto opens its ninth location in downtown Atlanta between the Five Points and Peachtree MARTA stations near Georgia State University.

East Atlanta Village: MikChan's, from the owners of Cabbagetown restaurant JenChan's, opens March 1 in the former pho and bánh mì shop We Suki Suki for bulgogi burgers, Chinese burgers (rou jia mo), and Szechuan hot dogs.

Howell Mill Road/Star Metals: Sweetgreen opens Tuesday, March 22, at the emerging Star Metals complex on Howell Mill Road.

Howell Mill Road/the Interlock: Pour Taproom is open for lunch and dinner at the Interlock complex.

Lindbergh: Brix and Stones is now open for New York- and Sicilian-style pies and slices, as well as calzones, wings, and pasta dishes on Piedmont Road.

Marietta Street Artery: Bastone Italian restaurant and mozzarella bar opens March 7 in the former Bocado space on Howell Mill Road.

Midtown: Amici, a pizzeria found in college towns and on college campuses throughout Georgia and South Carolina, is now open at Spring Street student housing complex the Mark.

Midtown: El Valle Kitchen and Bar, a Mexican restaurant and bar, is now open in the former Escorpion space on Peachtree.

Old Fourth Ward: Big Game is now open at Anthem on Ashley serving a menu offering a variety of "sustainable herd" and game meats, like "trophy fish", bison, and elk.

Sandy Springs: Pisco Latin Kitchen, Peruvian restaurant serving Nikkei dishes, opened on Roswell Road in the former Cafe Sunflower space.

Suwanee: Two Cities Pizza Company opens on Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road for Chicago and New York pizza.

Underwood Hills: Mochinut opened at Chattahoochee Food Works food hall.

Alpharetta: Shake Shack opens on February 16 along Haynes Bridge Road with a drive-thru window.

Brookhaven: Southern Fire Kitchen, a new soul food restaurant and bar, is now open in the former Medusa Lounge space on Buford Highway.

Brookwood Hills: The Usual from chef Nick Leahy is now open at the Arya complex across from El Azteca on Peachtree Street.

Castleberry Hill: Brooklyn Tea opens February 26 on Nelson Street with 100 types of loose-leaf teas, hot and iced tea drinks, and vegan pastries.

Castleberry Hill: Atlantucky Brewing, the Atlanta brewery owned by the members of Southern rap quartet Nappy Roots, officially opens to the public February 4.

Dunwoody: Sankranti Indian restaurant is open for takeout and delivery at the State Farm building. Dine-in service Begins in the next few weeks.

East Lake: Hippin Hops Brewery is open at the Hosea and 2nd complex for beer, including sours, and dishes like lamb chops, grilled shrimp skewers, and blackened sea bass with Cajun rice.

Grant Park: Augustine's Bar and Grill reopened on Memorial Drive under new ownership and with a new menu which includes weekly steak and potato specials, loaded tater tots, and eight variations on the grilled cheese from Triton Yards container restaurant Skilled Cheese.

Howell Mill/Westside: Mujo, the sushi pop-up led by chef J. Trent Harris and backed by Castellucci Hospitality (the Iberian Pig), opens February 16 as an omakase restaurant.

Marietta Street Artery: Wok Chi is now open on Marietta Street serving Chinese food classics.

Old Fourth Ward: Glide Pizza reopened in its new location at StudioPlex for pizza, beer, and outdoor seating. Indoor seating begins this spring.

Sandy Springs: Mutation Brewing Co. is now open in the former Taqueria Tsunami space on Roswell Road.

Toco Hills: The Queso Shop, a takeout restaurant with a walk-up window and ordering station dubbed a "taco ATM" from Yumbii owner Carson Young, is now open at the Toco Hill Shopping Center.

Underwood Hills: Breadwinner Cafe and Bakery sandwich and soup stall is now open at food hall Chattahoochee Food Works.

Alpharetta: Vas Kouzina Greek restaurant is now open on Canton Street next to Maple Street Biscuit.

Berkeley Park: The Daily, a cafe and coffee shop based in Charleston, opens January 19 on Trabert Avenue, up the street from Monday Night Brewing.

Buckhead: Dirty Rascal opened on the ground floor of the new Hyatt-backed Thompson Hotel on East Paces Ferry Road.

Buckhead: Fetch Park dog park and bar is open at luxury retail complex Buckhead Village.

Chamblee: Three Buddies, a halal burger, wings, and taco restaurant, is now open on Buford Highway.

Downtown: Mad Hatter-themed cocktail bar opened on Upper Alabama Street and runs through at least March at Underground Atlanta.

Grant Park: Parkside Kitchen and Cocktails is now open at the Beacon complex.

Kennesaw: Vesuvio, owned by former Sotto Sotto and Fritti executive chef Massimo Andreozzi, opened in the former Colombian Bites space on North Main Street.

Marietta Street Artery: Emmy Squared is now open on Marietta Street along the Marietta Street Artery, next to the former Octane coffee shop.

Midtown: Rumi's Kitchen opened for Persian food at Colony Square.

Ponce City Market: Atrium bistro and bar, owned by Aziza's Tal Baum, is now open in the former Brezza Cucina space.

Ponce City Market: Cake Culture, a bakery specializing in mille crepe cakes, begins popping up at the market January 26.

Powder Springs: Suga's Cheese Shoppe and Cafe opened on Marietta Street serving dishes centered around pimento cheese.

Roswell: Wegman's Bayou Louisiana Kitchen, owned by the chef behind Adele's Cajun Kitchen on Canton Street, opened in the same space.

Summerhill: How Crispy Express fried chicken sandwich restaurant is now open on Georgia Avenue.

Underwood Hills: Urban Wings is now open on Defoors Ferry for wings in a variety of flavors, including Thai peanut, pineapple teriyaki, lemon pepper, and Korean bbq, and sides like fried green tomatoes, fried pickles, and mac and cheese bites.

Avondale Estates: Santo Cantina and Cocina opens in December in the former Good Karma coffee shop space on North Avondale Road.

Bolton: Juniper Cafe, a Vietnamese restaurant and bakery from the owners of Lazy Betty, is open at Westside Village on Marietta Boulevard.

Bolton: Desta Ethiopian Kitchen is now open at Westside Village.

Brookhaven: Greek Pizzeria and Gyros opened in the Skyland Shopping Center on Clairmont Road.

Buckhead: Mount Royal steakhouse and Spaceman bar, backed by Empire State South chef Hugh Acheson, are both open at the new Hyatt Centric Hotel.

Buford: Jinya Ramen Bar is now open at the Exchange at Gwinnett, 35 miles northeast of Atlanta.

Castleberry Hill: Black Coffee ATL opened on Walker Street serving coffee, coffee and tea drinks, and pastries and breakfast sandwiches.

Cumberland: Grits and Eggs Breakfast Kitchen is now open for all-day breakfast and brunch on Cumberland Boulevard.

Duluth: Slutty Vegan opened on Pleasant Hill Road.

East Atlanta: Pollo Supremo, a Sinaloan-style chicken restaurant co-owned by chef Duane Kulers of Supremo Taco, is now open on Moreland Avenue.

East Atlanta Village: Food hall Southern Feedstore is open on Glenwood Avenue with stalls from Brazilian restaurant and coffee bar Buteco, Woody's CheeseSteaks, Gyro Gyro, and Waffle Bar.

Embry Hills: Belle and Lily's Caribbean Brunch House is open on Chamblee Tucker Road.

Marietta Street Artery: Delia's Chicken Sausage Stand and its rooftop container deck are back open for business.

Midtown: Saints and Council, owned by former Cafe Intermezzo CEO William Pitts, brings all-day dining, heated patio seats, and flexible seating options to Colony Square.

Old Fourth Ward: Lady Ha, a Vietnamese street food restaurant from the owner of Hopstix, is open at the Ford Factory Lofts.

Ponce City Market: LaRayia's Bodega, a vegan market and takeout spot, opened next to Batter Cookie Dough and Saint-Germain Bakery.

Ponce City Market: Vietvana Vietnamese food stall opens in December in the expanded central food hall.

Poncey-Highland: Georgia Boy, the tasting menu restaurant hidden behind the dining room at Southern Belle, reopened at Plaza on Ponce.

Roswell: Loquom Lounge is now open on Holcomb Bridge Road serving a variety of kebabs and hookah flavors.

Virginia-Highland: Pielands, a pizzeria from the owner of Nina and Rafi, is now open in the former Goin' Coastal space.
