Fans tuning into the documentary about the festival honouring Caroline Flack were in tears at unseen footage of the star.

Caroline tragically took her own life in February 2020, just before the start of the coronavirus pandemic. Her friends and family came together to honour her memory with Flackstock, a special festival held in Berkshire to remember her life.

As part of Flackstock, Lucie Jones came to perform the song She Used To Be Mine from the musical Waitress, the same song she sang at Caroline's funeral. The song had everyone there - and those tuning into the documentary - in tears as a string of unseen clips of the Love Island presenter and her friends and family were shown as a sweet montage.

Emotional fans took to Twitter as they referenced the beautiful tribute to Caroline.

"Watching #flackstock as an emotional wreck because it's just the most beautiful tribute to @carolineflack1. I will never get over the fact she's no longer here," one wrote, as another added: "Watching #flackstock and just spontaneously combusted into tears. Caroline really was one of the girls.never knew/met her and i still mourn her beautiful soul! #BeKindAlways."

A third shared: "Watching #flackstock. That was so so sad. What a beautiful song for a beautiful lady," as a fourth fan added on social media: "This song with the video montage of Caroline in the background #flackstock."

Others called for the festival to be made an annual thing as they celebrated Caroline's life.

"Watching #flackstock and wish Caroline knew how much she was loved by so many and still is. What a wonderful group of friends and family to put it all together," one viewer wrote.

A second added: " #flackstock This event should happen every year going forward. The issues of mental health need to be continually bought to the forefront and be talked about. A very emotional watch tonight on Sky Showcase."

" #flackstock Wish I'd had gone to this! So glad they showed Waffle, I always wondered what happened to her cat!" a third penned.

Flackstock was held on July 25 in Englefield House in Reading, Berkshire where a number of Caroline's friends and family, as well as fans, gathered to pay tribute to her with a day of live music and comedy, including a performance of Sweet Caroline by her X Factor co-host Olly Murs. Family and friends all gathered on stage and they sang together as the sun set over the festival.
