After 34 games at the Little League World Series, Game 35 marks the international final between Chinese Taipei and Curacao.
Chinese Taipei, representing the Asia-Pacific region, will take on Curacao, representing the Caribbean, for a chance to play the winner of the U.S. final between Hawaii (West) and Tennessee (Southeast) in the LLWS final. The loser of this game will play the loser of the U.S. final for third place.
Curacao is riding high after a sterling pitching performance from Jay-Dlynn Wiel, who threw a complete-game one-hitter in a 2-1 win over Mexico. Chinese Taipei, meanwhile, won its last game against Mexico with a pitching-by-committee approach, as three pitchers combined to give up five hits and one run.
