Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill reunite in new photos from Enola Holmes 2.
An exclusive look from Entertainment Weekly has revealed the first official photos from the upcoming Enola Holmes 2, the follow-up to 2020's Enola Holmes. The first film centers on the titular Enola, teenage sister of the hugely famous Sherlock Holmes, who makes it her mission to travel to London in search of her missing mother.

The newly released photos from the sequel showcase the return of Stranger Things star Brown in the lead role, as well as several reoccuring cast members. In the new film, Enola works to open her own detective agency while struggling to make a name for herself in the shadow of her famous brother Sherlock (Henry Cavill).
Brown explained how the Enola Holmes sequel builds on the first film to offer audiences a whole new experience. "We set the film in the hustle and bustle of London, which is something that we didn't really get to see as much in the first one," she said. "We got to really see what this young girl is doing in this crazy city that surrounds her night and day, and we get to explore these places in great detail."

Enola Holmes director Harry Bradbeer -- who also returned to helm the follow-up -- said that he wanted this story to be "a grittier one." He added, "I wanted to introduce her to working-class girls in a working-class world. I wanted it to be a completely new world for Enola, so she was more out of her depth."
Cavill also opened up about the relationship his character will have with Brown's this time around, saying it has "evolved to a place more in line with equals." He went on to admit his character lacks certain traits that Enola possesses in spades. "While Sherlock has the experience and his second-to-none mind, he doesn't have the same emotional wherewithal as Enola, nor does he have the same heart," Cavill said.

Brown mentioned that the process of filming "can be tiring" but said the experience was positive overall. "There were so many things that I got to be a part of, and I was really grateful for that," she said. "My age and gender has never defined [my job], so everyone on set really respected me and heard me. It was such a nice environment to be able to experience."
Enola Holmes 2 is set to hit Netflix on Nov. 4.
