Hersheypark is now open daily for the 2022 Season! We have visited twice already and here are all the details you need for a Sweet Summer escape.

If you have been around for awhile, you know that my family is a huge fan of the Sweetest Place on Earth- Hersheypark. This park has grown by leaps and bounds in the past 5 years, and isn't slowing down anytime soon.

If you haven't visited in awhile, it's time for you to get there. Just a short drive from the Baltimore Metro, DC and other surrounding areas it's the perfect day trip (or weekend getaway).

Hersheypark debuted not one but two all new attractions this season and they are a tribute to all things Jolly Rancher. This expanded area adds a new energy to what was once a quiet hilltop

Jolly Rancher Remix

The coaster may look a little familiar but it's quite different. Take a ride on this vibrant coaster that takes you and your senses forward and back on the same flavorful track. Blast through the flavor tunnel, invert 6 times in 90 seconds, and jam to sweet tunes. I rode last week and it was really fun.-My daughter rode NINE times so she could experience every song and every flavor.

Remix'd By Jolly Rancher

Sit in one of the 4 arms and get ready to enjoy this fun family ride.  The ride begins by spinning 360 degrees then shifts into gear and mixes in lifts, drops, and never before seen views, while dodging the other riders. First you'll ride forward, then you'll ride backwards for an experience that's anything but ordinary. It's a butterfly feeling, not a full on spin type of feel.

DJ Jolly Rancher likes to stop by to check on his new attractions- so grab a photo!

Candymonium

Haven't been to the park in 2 years? You don't want to miss this hyper coaster which opened in 2020. From the 210 ft first drop, to the non-stop air time, you will be only be disappointed when it ends.

The view from the lift hill is stunning, you can see all of Hershey! You better look fast because the free fall sensation that follows comes quick. Just when you think you can catch your breath the second hill gets you right back in the air.

Sweet Tip: The wait time is significantly less towards the end of the day.

The dining at Hersheypark has come a long way from pizza and funnel cakes! Dining has become a big part of our experience in the park. Here are a few of our favorites.

The Frozen Spoon

Coming soon near the Jolly Rancher attractions is a food truck featuring fun Jolly Rancher sorbets including Blue Raspberry, Grape, Green Apple and Cherry. Available as Scoops or in a Flight with all Four Flavors.

We were able to try the Blue Raspberry and it is so good, I can't wait for this to open this month.

East Coast Mini Donuts

You had me at donuts. With not one but three locations in the park there is no reason you cannot enjoy these sweet treats. They have classic flavors and always a unique Flavor of the Month. In June you can enjoy a Jolly Rancher inspired treat  topped with a sweet glaze and Jolly Rancher pieces. Available at The Boardwalk Mini Donuts Location.

These are an absolute favorite of ours, and we always leave with a box (or two).

Simply Chocolate

Are you looking for a shareable milkshake with cookies and cake on them? Milkshakes inspired by your favorite Hershey confections? Simply Chocolate is where you will find them. The King Shakes are absolutely insta-worthy.

Starbucks

Caffeine lovers rejoice! Enjoy your favorite Starbucks coffee and snacks inside the park. Located in Chocolatetown, grab your order and head to the outdoor patio to check out the sweet views of Candymonium.

The Chocolatier

it's no secret that this is my favorite place to eat at Hersheypark. This restaurant can only exist in Hershey - with past and present pieces from their ride collection, tributes to founder Milton S. Hershey, and chocolate dipped throughout the menu.

I try to order something new each visit, but it's hard to deviate from my favorite menu item -Chocolatetown Burger. And I always enjoy a cocktail inspired by the attractions!

With so much to see and do why not make a full weekend of your Sweet Escape at stay at one of the 3 Hershey Resorts. They come with special perks just for guests.

You can read my full reviews below of each.

The best way to purchase tickets is online before you arrive, as they are 25% off now. Your ticket not only includes Hersheypark but the Boardwalk at Hershey an 11 acre waterpark and ZooAmerica. The park opens daily at 11 a.m. and has varying closing times depending on the day of the week.

Hersheypark is now cashless and accepts all major credit cards, debit cards and Hersheypark gift cards, as well as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay. For guests who may not have credit or debit cards, you can convert cash to prepaid debit cards at the Cash-to-Card kiosks stationed around the park. There is no fee to load cash onto a card at these kiosks.  Please check the app for locations. For games, you will need to purchase a separate Gaming Card at gaming locations, which you can load via cashless payment.

As said by the founder of the park, Milton S. Hershey,  "Give them quality. That's the Best Advertising In The World". I believe they are absolutely doing that so guests can have a memorable summer!
