Spoilers for The Amazing Spider-Man #8 by Marvel Comics

Despite his initial reservations about wearing a suit created by Norman Osborn, Spider-Man loves a new feature in his costume, as the hero's electronic mask brings him immense joy while using it. In The Amazing Spider-Man #8 by Marvel Comics, after defeating the Vulture, Spider-Man turns on a feature in his mask, as his face turns into a smiley face - a detail Spidey truly enjoys.

In his Marvel Comics ongoing series, Spider-Man has struck an unlikely partnership with Norman Osborn, as the former Green Goblin villain is looking to be a help to the web-slinger after being cleansed of his past by the Sin-Eater. Peter Parker is understandably cautious about trusting the man who has tried to ruin his life more times than he can count - and when he gets a job offer from Osborn and is shown a new suit for Spider-Man, he rejects it. However, in the hero's latest adventures, he accepts the costume and learns to love one of its most hilarious features.

In The Amazing Spider-Man by Zeb Wells, John Romita Jr., Scott Hanna, Marcio Menyz, and VC's Joe Caramagna from Marvel Comics, Spider-Man fights the Vulture and quickly is overmatched by the villain trying to kill him. Spider-Man makes a surprise call to Norman Osborn and tells him to send him the suit; otherwise, he will die. After being told he can't send him his suit, Spider-Man eventually gains access to his new costume and uses its functions, such as a glider and nanobot-filled weapon, to take down Vulture. After defeating him, Spider-Man gloats to Vulture about a new feature on his suit as he shows off his new electronic mask, which turns into a giant smiley face.

Spider-Man returns to Norman Osborn and finds out he struggled with sending the suit because his instincts told him to put it on himself and save Peter - but he knew that jumping on a glider again could lead him to become the Green Goblin again. Spider-Man believes him and agrees to work for Oscorp. Seeing a new side to Osborn and getting a chance to use the latest tech, like the mask and glider, showed Peter that, for once, his former nemesis could be trusted.

It seems inevitable that Peter Parker and Norman Osborn's new partnership will fail. But, for now, Spider-Man is putting his trust behind the former villain and getting some cool tech, like his new mask, as a result of working with Oscorp and their incredible technological innovators. Impressed with his new costume, Peter is ready to give Norman a chance - at least until he proves him wrong. The Amazing Spider-Man #8 by Marvel Comics is in stores now.
