Aug. 23-The Musical Theater Project will present "For Good: The New Generation of Musicals" at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 27, at The French Creek Theater at Lorain County Metro Parks, 4530 Colorado Ave. in Sheffield Village, according to a news release.
This event is a celebration and exploration of recent American musicals featuring Eric Fancher and Jessica Cope Miller, and co-hosted by Sheri Gross and Nancy Maier, the release said.
This is a production from The Musical Theater Project, according to the release.
"For Good: The New Generation of Musicals" explores the songs from the best musicals of the past 25 years, the release said.
"Let's find out where today's American musical is, how it connects with the past, and departs from it, too," according to the release. "The creativity is astonishing and includes such current hits as Moulin Rouge, Girl From the North Country and the Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award- winning The Strange Loop."
