With Vince McMahon's reign over WWE creative coming to an end, the company has already seen some huge changes with Triple H in command. Raw and SmackDown have seen the return of names such as Karrion Kross and Johnny Gargano, with more expected to be coming soon too.

However, no matter who is at the helm, there are certain individuals who very likely won't be making a comeback to WWE. Whether that be due to pre-existing heat with the company, or simply due to the fact that they are doing well in another promotion, some wrestlers won't make a return.
It didn't seem possible for Sting to return to the ring at all prior to him joining AEW, but with him now in the company, this is without a doubt the final stretch of his in-ring career. At over 60 years old, not even a big WrestleMania payday would bring him back to WWE, especially after he was so mishandled the last time around.
Sting has had a very enjoyable run in AEW, and it very much feels like a final stint at this point, with him working alongside younger names and used only sparingly as an in-ring performer.
The former Franky Monet had a lot of potential to be a stop star in WWE, but she was mishandled greatly in NXT before her release. Upon leaving, she has found success in AAA and Impact, and will likely not turn back to relive that poor phase of her career.
Valkyrie didn't work in WWE, and with her being a long way into her wrestling career, it is unlikely for her to have yet another trial run in the promotion.
The reason Christian Cage chose AEW over WWE was due to him not wanting to just be "Edge's partner". However, if he ever came back to WWE, he would undoubtedly go back to that role.
In AEW, he has had his own identity and worked with younger names rather than being a nostalgia act and as a tool for Edge's storylines. Cage will likely spend the rest of his in-ring career in AEW as an experienced hand.
If Toni Storm were in Triple H's WWE, she would be better booked than she was previously. And perhaps she would even have more character depth than she does in AEW, but with her completely losing her passion for wrestling whilst in WWE, she won't be heading back.
Storm has been in and around the top of AEW's women's division and has been given a lot of time to put on good matches, which is a far cry from getting a pie thrown in her face like she was in WWE.
Whilst Jon Moxley has been very appreciative of his time in WWE, he has also expressed his huge displeasure with his creative booking, as he was mishandled time and time again. Outside of WWE, he has had one hell of a run.

Moxley is able to be himself, wrestle how he wants, and he has been presented as a top tier performer in an array of promotions. It is clear to see how happy he is away from WWE, making it unlikely for him to ever give that up, at least not until very far in the future.
Although Miro's momentum has dwindled since his time as TNT Champion, he is still enjoying a better time than he was during his final few years in WWE, where he was often humiliated, with him being forced to be a heel despite being hugely over with fans.
Miro has recently stated how perfect the AEW schedule is for him, so if he were to ever leave his current place of work, a return to WWE would be unlikely due to the intense touring schedule of the company.
When WWE initially signed Kenta to NXT, he was presented as a huge deal. However, injuries and subsequent inconsistent booking would lead to years of regret and purgatory for him, until he finally left the promotion.
He has once again found his feet back in Japan, and a return to WWE looks to be completely off the table due to how awful his run was during his time there.
Bryan Danielson's time in WWE was legendary, with him becoming hugely successful and one of the most popular superstars of all time. However, by the time his contract ran out, he was desperate to wrestle elsewhere and in a style that he wanted.
His happiness and passion is too strong for him to find himself back in WWE at this point, with that being a chapter that he has now surpassed in favor of following his dream once again, even with him being in WWE's good books and vice versa.
Although Mickie James seemed to be on good graces with WWE due to appearing in the 2022 Royal Rumble, it appeared that she did that more to represent Impact Wrestling rather than as a favor to WWE.

James has recently stated that she may be done completely with wrestling, and with her multiple botched runs in WWE over the years, she will likely wrestle again outside the company if she does continue her career, as she is much more respected elsewhere.
The only reason CM Punk returned to professional wrestling in the first place was because there was a viable alternative to WWE in AEW. Without that, it is very likely that he would have never made a comeback.
Punk's run in AEW has been fun, with him able to be himself more, but it hasn't come without some controversy at times. Punk has storied backstage heat with Triple H - even more than he did with Vince McMahon, making it even less of a possibility that he at some point comes back to WWE.
