LEGO Star Wars: Summer Vacation is a delightful story filled with heart, humor, and valuable lessons. Amongst all this goodness, there are some intriguing details that could become canon down the line.

It is important to remember that LEGO Star Wars stories are not considered part of Star Wars canon. However, there are certain details that feel like they could be a natural fit for future canon stories, especially when it comes to exploring the sequel trilogy characters in the aftermath of The Rise of Skywalker.

The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special shows that Finn is training as a Jedi with Rey as his teacher. Summer Vacation continues to show Finn on his journey as a Jedi. Not only is Finn about to go on a mission to find more Force-sensitive beings throughout the galaxy, but he also is able to see and communicate with the Force ghosts of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Leia Organa.

All of these Force ghosts appear to give Finn some counsel as he grapples with the future, providing valuable lessons as they tell their respective vacation stories. All of these interactions are meaningful and exciting, but the one with Leia is especially moving given Finn's shared history with her. A future story like this would be a great way of showing Finn being a Jedi in canon.

Obi-Wan's "vacation" story involves him helping a Rebel spy named Lieutenant Colvett Valeria on Tatooine. When she is pursued by stormtroopers, Obi-Wan pretends to be her husband on vacation with her and then uses a Jedi mind trick to convince the stormtroopers to abandon their chase. He then helps her retrieve a shipment of coaxium that her Rebel cell intercepted before it was stolen by Jabba the Hutt.

Obi-Wan helping Colvett Valeria could be a canon story that takes place after the events of the Obi-Wan Kenobi television series. When Obi-Wan began, he'd cut himself off from the Force and from helping others, even refusing to help fellow Jedi survivor Nari when he came to Obi-Wan on Tatooine. Obi-Wan's experiences with Leia, the Path, Darth Vader, and the Third Sister/Inquisitor Reva changed all of that. This means after the Obi-Wan series and before A New Hope, there could definitely be a story of him using the Force and gladly helping a Rebel spy on Tatooine.

After stealing a shipment of coaxium from Colvett Valeria's Rebel cell, Jabba the Hutt--who is one of the best aliens in Star Wars canon--plans to sell the coaxium to the Empire. This makes sense for a canon story given that Jabba the Hutt has been shown to work and trade with the Empire when it is advantageous for his criminal empire. It also tracks with other crime syndicates such as Crimson Dawn in Solo selling coaxium to the Empire.

Jabba making the sale to the Empire during a raucous birthday party at his palace is probably an exaggerated version of what actually happened, but Jabba selling coaxium to the Empire definitely feels like something that could happen in canon.

Despite much of Scarif being decimated by the first Death Star in Rogue One, Scarif's beaches and the planet as a whole have been restored into a tropical oasis when Finn goes there in Summer Vacation. In fact, it now features beach resorts and is a stop for those traveling aboard the Halcyon.

A future canon story could confirm that Scarif is restored from the second Death Star's devastation in the aftermath of The Rise of Skywalker. Depending on when the story takes place, this gives Scarif at least 35 years to recover. It would be a beautiful way of showing how the galaxy is gradually healing from all the suffering and destruction inflicted by the Empire and the First Order.

Leia's Force ghost tells Finn the story of a vacation that she and Han took with Ben before he began his Jedi training with Luke. When the Organa-Solo family goes to a resort on the forest moon of Endor, Ben meets a young woman named Sidero and Ben is immediately smitten with her.

Sidero likes Ben and is also smitten with him after he pilots the Millennium Falcon to safety through a field of debris from the second Death Star. His expert flying and leadership save her and everyone else onboard. Other than a quick kiss on the cheek from Sidero, nothing else happens between them, and Ben then goes off to train with Luke. While Ben and Sidero don't develop any kind of deep romantic relationship, canon could establish that Ben had this crush years before meeting Rey.

Many fans take issue with the fact that after Ben Solo sacrifices his life to save Rey in The Rise of Skywalker, it is never shown whether he became a Force ghost. It was a common sentiment that his Force ghost should've been shown alongside the Force ghosts of Luke and Leia as they look proudly at Rey on Tatooine.

After Leia's Force ghost shares her vacation story with Finn in Summer Vacation, she says, "Finn, a wise Jedi once told me, 'No one's ever really gone.'" Ben Solo's Force ghost then appears beside his mother as they smile warmly at each other. It would be heartwarming to see the Force ghost of Ben Solo in a future canon story.

Finn mentions that after this vacation, Rey will go to the Unknown Regions to search for Jedi Temples. A canon post-Rise of Skywalker story could show Rey going on this quest. It would be a great opportunity to explore Rey's evolution as a Jedi after the events of the sequel trilogy, along with diving into new Jedi lore.

While Luke discovered many important Jedi artifacts and locations after Return of the Jedi, there are inevitably forgotten secrets out there that even he didn't discover. Rey could make new discoveries that will provide new insight into the Jedi and the Force itself.

Finn's remark in Summer Vacation that Poe will be training a new generation of X-Wing pilots seems like a logical step for his next character. Poe has already been featured alongside his fellow Black Squadron pilots in part of the comic Star Wars #25 by Charles Soule, which is currently the only canon story set after The Rise of Skywalker.

Not only could Poe and the rest of Black Squadron train new X-Wing pilots in any canon story, but it could be in a future Star Wars movie, specifically Rogue Squadron. The movie is confirmed to be about a new generation of star fighter pilots, which makes Poe teaching new X-Wing pilots a natural fit.

One of the best parts of the sequel-era LEGO holiday specials is getting Rose Tico (voiced by Kelly Marie Tran). It is great to see Rose as an equal member of the group with Rey, Finn, and Poe.

As for Rose's future, her compassion and courage were a significant part of both her and Finn's arcs in The Last Jedi. With these traits defining her character, it only makes sense that she would be leading relief missions after The Rise of Skywalker, continuing to prove how much she cares about others across the galaxy while helping those in need.

When Finn and the others board the Halcyon, they see many holo-videos of Lando Calrissian. He proudly declares that he is a newly-appointed ambassador of Chandrila Star Line. Chandrila Star Line is the company that operates luxury starcruisers such as the Halcyon.

Lando becoming an ambassador for Chandrila Star Line could be incorporated into the upcoming Lando television series or another canon post-Rise of Skywalker story. Given his showmanship and sense of style, it is rather fitting for his character.
