Queensland Police has seized several kilograms of drugs after an eight-month investigation into an alleged drug syndicate spanning from Brisbane to Mackay.

Police raided a series of properties in the Mackay region between August 8 and 10 targeting the alleged drug dealers.

A spokesperson said 52 people have since been arrested with charges ranging from firearm possession to trafficking dangerous drugs.

Investigators allegedly seized 2 kilograms of cannabis, 83 cannabis plants, 150 grams of methylamphetamine and 13g of cocaine, along with LSD, MDMA and steroids with the street value estimated to be $425,000.

Firearms including handguns, rifles and shotguns were seized with an additional $200,000 in cash.

A total of 239 charges have been laid; seven trafficking, 86 supplying dangerous drugs, six producing dangerous drugs, six possessing a firearm or weapon, 79 other drug-related offences and five contravening access to information.

Detective Senior Sergeant Chris Eaton said the operation was also a warning to anyone involved in illegal drugs.

"Operation Tango Muscatel re-enforces that Queensland Police will continue to target people involved in the distribution of dangerous drugs, particularly those in organised criminal networks," he said.

At least one Habana woman is expected to appear in Mackay Magistrates Court on August 24 and a man on September 12.
