When you stay 60 nights or earn 100,000 base points annually with World of Hyatt, you can access a Globalist My Hyatt Concierge agent. The My Hyatt Concierge agent is a dedicated, single point of contact for any matter related to Hyatt reservations. This means anything from reservation changes to special requests can be handled by the same person if you reach out to them.© The Points GuyAndaz Singapore. (Photo by Kyle Olsen/The Points Guy)

Having been a Globalist member for the last two years, I haven't taken advantage of the My Hyatt Concierge benefit as I generally find it easier to pick up the phone and call the more than capable Globalist phone line when I have questions.

But now there's a useful new benefit to My Hyatt Concierge: Your representative may offer to pre-register you in Hyatt promotions.

There are widespread reports of Globalist members receiving emails from their My Hyatt Concierge agent inviting them to opt-in to auto-enrollment for all future World of Hyatt promotions. In doing so, you'll never miss out on bonus points or other perks when Hyatt runs limited-time promotions you're eligible for.

Presumably, your My Hyatt Concierge has access to the same World of Hyatt Globalist promotions available online, so you are not gaining access to any new or special promotions.

However, opting into this service can still be useful, as you no longer have to worry about registering for promotions or losing out on points. Instead, you can carry out your Hyatt stays as normal and earn bonus points on autopilot when applicable promotions are going on.

SPONSORED: With states reopening, enjoying a meal from a restaurant no longer just means curbside pickup.

And when you do spend on dining, you should use a credit card that will maximize your rewards and potentially even score special discounts. Thanks to temporary card bonuses and changes due to coronavirus, you may even be able to score a meal at your favorite restaurant for free.

These are the best credit cards for dining out, taking out, and ordering in to maximize every meal purchase.
