A child has been left with life-changing injuries after being bitten by a dog.
The incident, which took place in Hampshire, took place around 6.35pm on Monday.
Police raced to the scene on Botley Drive in Havant after receiving reports that a three-year-old girl had been bitten.
The toddler was taken to Queen Alexandra hospital for treatment where her injuries are reportedly life-changing.
The dog involved in the attack, a Doberman, has been seized by police.
A 44-year-old woman from Havant has been arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury.
She remains in custody at this time, police have confirmed.
