The Movie is about an aspiring musician who is the daughter of an immigrant, she agrees to a marriage of convenience with a Marine who is about to be deployed. Their fake relationship soon becomes real when a tragedy strikes.
"Purple Hearts" features Disney star Sofia Carson as Cassie and her love interest Luke is played by the "handsome devil" Nicholas Galitzine. Despite a 36% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, the movie has an 80% audience score which means fans are enjoying the movie. Kat Cunning is more than an actor, they are also a dancer, model and musician. They made their television debut in season 2 of HBO's The Deuce with James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal, playing Franco's love interest, Christina Fuego, and co-starred in Netflix's Y.A. series Trinkets.

The 29-year-old Australian actor, like his cast mate Chosen Jacobs, has appeared on Hawaii Five-0. Kim made his TV debut in a 2010 miniseries called The Pacific, where he played a 14-year-old Japanese soldier. Linden Ashby has been around since the 80s. Some may recognise him from the Teen Wolf TV series (2011-2017) where he played Sheriff Stilinksi, but before that he appeared in another show called Werewolf back in 1987. Ashby also appeared in 58 episodes of popular daytime soap The Young & The Restless as Cameron Kirsten, as well as Paul Hollingsworth on Days of Our Lives.
Otherwise, he's known for his roles in Resident Evil: Extinction (2007), and Iron Man 3 (2013). Linden Ashby is expected to return as Sheriff Stilinkski for Teen Wolf: The Movie which is currently in post-production.

Though you might recognize him from Prime Video's 2021 adaptation of Cinderella, in which Nicholas Galitzine appeared as Prince Henry alongside Camila Cabello, Idina Menzel, and Billy Porter. Galitzine made his on-screen debut in the 2014 film The Beat Beneath My Feet.

In Purple Hearts, Sofia Carson plays an aspiring singer-songwriter Cassie who juggles several jobs as a server, food delivery driver and piano teacher. Carson's television debut came in 2014 with an appearance in an episode of Austin and Ally. She made her feature length debut as 'Evie' in the comedic fantasy television film Descendants (2015).
She would reprise the role throughout the rest of the franchise, including voicing the character for the animated spin-off and the live action sequels. As part of the 2017 iteration of the Marvel Comic superhero series Spider-Man, Sofia Carson voiced Keemia, aka Sand Girl.
In 2018, Sofia made her debut in her first film drama Asbury Park, alongside Ron Perlman and Dominique Swain, she also starred in Netflix's 2020 movie Feel The Beat.
