If you have a dog, you likely enjoy spoiling your four-legged friend in a variety of ways-feeding them treats throughout the day, taking them on walks, and giving them a lot of belly rubs. While this type of puppy love spans across all dog breeds, there is one species that is more spoiled than the rest according to new data: American Staffordshire Terriers.

To identify the most spoiled dog breeds across the country, Bark, an organization that advocates for fostering and dog-friendly spaces, dug through over 10 years of customer data and purchasing trends. The data was culled from dog owners that have subscribed to BarkBox and Super Chewer, and then filtered by breed. With the data, they were able to identify the most spoiled breeds, most popular breeds, and the most popular dog names in each state.

While we know the top spot goes to American Staffordshire Terriers, there are a few other dog types that get some extra love from their owners, according to Bark's data. German Shorthaired Pointers, Bernese Mountain dogs, Labrador Retrievers, Catahoula Leopard dogs, English Bulldogs, Boston Terriers, Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Grate Danes, and Belgian Shepherd dogs, rounded out the top 10.

The data also identified the most popular breeds across the nation, which included Labrador Retrievers, Pit Bulls, and Doodles. In fact, Utah was the only state that didn't have Pitbulls or Labrador Retrievers as its top dog-their number one spot went to the Doodle. Another fun fact? Alaska's most-owned dog isn't an Alaskan breed; it's the Labrador, but the Alaskan Husky claimed the second slot.

In addition, the date revealed that pet owners in the United States gravitate towards the same dog names. "Regardless of region or political leaning, we have commonality in what we name our pups as Americans, and the most popular name is Luna," notes data authors. Followed by Luna is Bella, Charlie, Daisy, Max, Lucy, Sadie, and Kona.
