Three out of four people living in Finland believed that they themselves had coped well with the Covid pandemic, according to a new poll by the Foundation for Municipal Development (Kaks).

A majority of the population also gave their own municipality and the health authority (THL) a good rating.

Roughly half the respondents thought that the government was successful in dealing with the Covid outbreak. However, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health was not considered to have done as well in managing the pandemic. The same was true for the regional administrative agencies.

The Foundation for Municipal Development commissioned the survey questioning voters' opinions on how different agencies and levels of government handled the pandemic.

More than a thousand people took part in the survey, which was conducted by Kantar TNS from 3-9 June 2022. Respondents ranged in age from 18 to 79-years-old and included people from all over Finland except Åland.
