Erik ten Hag couldn't have wished for a better start to life as Manchester United's manager.
A 4-0 thrashing of arch-rivals Liverpool full of attacking verve and the kind of clinical finishing that they seemed incapable of during the torture of last season.
But the no-nonsense Dutch coach was quick to play down the significance of the scoreline - and rightly so.
There is still much hard work to do if United are to get anywhere close to Liverpool and the rest of the Premier League elite in the campaign ahead - and Ten Hag knows it.
That new season build up continues today. United have moved on from Bangkok to Melbourne and have A-League opposition in the form of Melbourne Victory at the famous MCG.
United will expect another win but most importantly it's about getting miles in the legs of as many players as possible.
Welcome along to our live coverage. It is an 11.05am kick-off UK time and we'll bring you plenty of build-up followed by the whole 90 minutes live.
