If you missed last year's Prime Day outdoor deals and got a case of FOMO, you'll have a chance to snag some of those same deals this year. In fact, we've already spotted some of those items on sale, on top of several other new discounts.  Last Prime Day, one of the top sellers was the LifeStraw Personal Water Filter, an award-winning filter that lets you drink water safely in the great outdoors. Other outdoorsy gadgets like Garmin smartwatches were majorly marked down. We also saw camping hammocks, fire pits, LED lanterns, and camping gear from Marmot and Coleman get in on the Prime Day sales. Here's a closer look at last year's best Prime Day deals:

If anything listed caught your eye, watch out for it today and tomorrow-it might be on sale once again.

Not only are we expecting last year's best sellers to go on sale again (which we'll add here), but we're also anticipating markdowns on camping trip must-haves like sleeping pads, propane stoves, duffel bags, and camping chairs. These big-ticket gear deals will go hand in hand with trending sales on smaller hiking essentials and personal safety gear like insect repellent, headlamps, and rechargeable battery power banks-you know, the items you do not want to get caught without when you're outside.

While Amazon Prime Day will be the main event, watch for competing offers from other big-box stores like Walmart as well as outdoor retailers like Backcountry, REI, and others. And for year-round savings, there are plenty of cheap outdoor gear sites to peruse for the lowest price on your coveted items.

In addition to Coleman, Garmin, Marmot, and LifeStraw, be on the lookout for more outdoor Prime Day deals from Klymit, Klean Kanteen, and hammock fave Eno, among others. You may also find some seriously discounted items from Amazon's own Basics line of camping chairs, backpacks, hammocks, water-resistant tarps, and more.
