A three-year-old boy has drowned in Queensland, after being pulled from the water by bystanders off a Gold Coast beach.
The boy had been missing for 30 minutes at a popular and busy swimming spot, Ian Dipple Lagoon off Broadwater, in Labrador, when two men spotted him, and pulled him from the water.
The boy is believed to have been under the water for 15 minutes, and was found floating face down as bystanders screamed for rescue crews.

Swift water rescue and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services personnel all assisted with the search.
After the boy was pulled from the water, eight paramedics, including critical care and the high acuity response unit, arrived at the scene.
They performed CPR on the boy, and transported him to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition, however he died before getting there.
Paul Young, a senior operations supervisor with Queensland Ambulance Service said emergency crews were called to scene at 9am.

"Queensland Ambulance Service attended the scene where a three-year-old male child that was missing in the water," he said.
"I'm led to believe (he was under water for) 15 minutes at this stage, the bystanders have said that.
Mr Young said the news was incredibly distressing, "so close to Christmas tomorrow."
"When you're in the water just be mindful of where your kids are during this holiday."
