The Disney+ Drive-In is coming back to Melbourne - here's what's showing and where to get tickets

The Disney+ Drive-In is heading back to Melbourne this summer. Presented by Openair Cinemas, the Disney+ Drive-In will commence on 12 January, 2022.

Held at Melbourne Showgrounds, this season will feature new blockbusters like "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" and old favourites like "Die Hard" and "Spider-Man". Plus, there's two themed nights in the program: 'Fan Fave Fridays' and 'Throwback Thursdays'.

This time around, a new seating area known simply as The Park has been introduced. The astroturfed section is in place for a 'front row' effect and ticket-holders will have bean bag loungers and table service with a volume-controlled radio.

DoorDash has come on board for this Disney+ Drive-In season to deliver food straight to your car during the movie. Once you have the DoorDash app downloaded, all you need to do is put in your car's location and order away. No lining up at counters - you can just enjoy the movie.
