Where to buy RTX 3060

It's been an uncertain time for those of us wanting to know where to buy RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti stock recently, but it's looking as though we could be over the worst of the shortages if the RTX 30 series restocks over the past few months are any indication.

Despite both cards' entry-level status, there's little debate that either model could be considered one of the best graphics cards for gaming on the market, especially if you game predominantly in Full HD and 1440p. Either video card offers a fantastic value for money when you can buy them for their respective MSRP, but all isn't lost in terms of RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti availability just yet.

The main differences between the RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti are the amount of CUDA cores and GDDR6 memory. The former is running 3,584 CUDA cores with 12GB VRAM and the latter utilizes 4,864 CUDA cores with 8GB VRAM.

Numbers aside, the RTX 3060 Ti performs better than the newer RTX 3060 video card, so if you have the option between the two, we urge the  Ti variant overall for stronger performance despite its lower memory capacity.

The RTX 3060 line, in either of its configurations, impresses based upon its price-to-performance ratio, especially when considering that the RTX 3060 carries a $329 / £300 price tag and the RTX 3060 Ti has an MSRP of $399 and an RRP of £369 - not that you can currently find either video card for their retail prices online reliably at the moment.

It's the same story that we've seen with RTX 3080 stock and RTX 3070 stock; you're going to have to pay more than anticipated for either the RTX 3060 or RTX 3060 Ti models right now, however, through certain online retailers, it isn't too much of a mark-up in most cases considering the specific manufacturer variants.

Nvidia RTX 3060 | From $329 (Check Amazon)

The world's largest online retailer has a few partner cards available, but the RTX 3060 prices vary massively depending on the make. It's worth giving it a look in, as we've spotted models close to MSRP recently, but it is admittedly inconsistent.

Nvidia RTX 3060 | From $329 (Check Best Buy)

Best Buy is currently out of any RTX 3060 stock right now, but we've seen the RTX 3060, and other RTX 30 series GPUs available for MSRP last month and throughout November currently.

Nvidia RTX 3060 | From $329 (Check Newegg) The best way to get an RTX 3060 cheap at Newegg is to take the prebuilt route with an RTX 3060 PC instead of paying too over-the-odds for the component itself. Fortunately, many ready-made rigs are available for competitive prices.

Nvidia RTX 3060 | From £300 (Check Amazon) The cheapest RTX 3060 that we've been able to verify from Amazon right now is a Palit StormX model for £599 which is one of the lower rates on the website right now. We recommend waiting for a full restock though if you can.

Nvidia RTX 3060 | From £300 (Check EBuyer) We'll be blunt with you; it isn't worth buying an RTX 3060 from EBuyer right now, but you can get an incredible deal on this AlphaSync Diamond RTX 3060 PC for only £959.99 (reduced from £1,100) which directly competes with many RTX 3060 aftermarket prices online now offering just the GPU on its own!

Nvidia RTX 3060 | From £300 (Check Box) There aren't any standalone Nvidia RTX 3060 GPUs available at Box right now, but you can get your hands on some cheap RTX 3060 laptops for less, as the Asus Tuf Dash F15 is only £929.97 (down from £1,000) and the  Lenovo Legion 5 is just £949.97 at the moment.

Nvidia RTX 3060 | From £300 (Check CCL Computers) RTX 3060 stock at CCL Computers is a little light at the moment, but its prices on RTX 3060 laptops and RTX 3060 PCs are some of the better that we've come across. Such as the Horizon Ryzen 5 for only £999.99 (down from £1,050) and the HP Victis for just £958.88.

Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti | From $399 (Check Amazon) You can currently find a few RTX 3060 Ti graphics cards through the world's largest online retailer right now, but they are priced above the Founders Edition MSRP. If you're after a video card and can spend a little extra, then it's worth looking into at least.

Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti | From $399 (Check Best Buy) Best Buy has been the gold standard as far as RTX 3060  Ti restocks are concerned, and we've seen RTX 3060 Ti stock available for MSRP recently on more than one occasion throughout October and November so far.

Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti | From $399 (Check Newegg)

Newegg is light on standalone RTX 3060 Ti GPUs at the moment, but there are several prebuilt systems priced competitively that are definitely worth another look, such as this ABS Master RTX 3060 Ti gaming PC which is currently on sale for $1,299.99 with some respectable specs.

Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti | $399 (Check Walmart)

Prices for the RTX 3060 Ti GPU from Walmart have been very high recently, but we recommend having a look as some cheaper options have crept through over the past few months. You definitely shouldn't be spending $900+ though.

Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti | From £369 (Check Amazon) The world's largest retailer in the UK has a few partner cards available for competitive rates, but we've rarely seen RTX 3060 Ti stock comparable to its Founders Edition RRP.

Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti | From £369 (Check Currys)

At the moment, Currys only has one RTX 3060 Ti graphics card available for purchase, a PNY REVEL Edition model for £700. It's higher than MSRP, but if you're in need of one and don't mind paying a little extra, it's an option available to you.

Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti | From £369 (Check EBuyer)

The best advice we can offer when considering buying an RTX 3060 Ti from EBuyer is to take the prebuilt route. Fortunately, the AlphaSync Diamond RTX 3060 Ti PC is only £1,149.99 which is a more-than-fair price in our minds.

Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti | From £369 (Check Box)

Box mostly has laptops and prebuilt PCs for fair prices as opposed to any cheap deals on the GPUs themselves. We can personally recommend many of the units available at the moment.

Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti | From £369 (Check Overclockers UK) There are currently quite a few RTX 3060 Ti graphics cards available from Overclockers from different manufacturers and styles, including that of Inno3D, Asus, Gigabyte, and more. It could be worth indulging in if you've been holding out for consistent stock this year.

From £369 (Check Overclockers UK)

Hope isn't lost completely for the rest of the RTX 30-series range; stock has been appearing sporadically throughout both the US and UK, but it could cost more than anticipated for the cards on their own.
