Red Bull's chief advisor Helmut Marko has demanded once again the FIA addressed track limits after a string of incidents have affected Max Verstappen over the season so far, costing him important points to Lewis Hamilton in the driver's standings.
Max Verstappen in particular has fallen foul of the track limits regulations, surrendering a win in Bahrain and losing out on a championship point when his fastest lap time in Portugal was wiped out.
At the end of the race it seemed Verstappen had bagged an important extra point in the driver's standings for the quickest lap of the race.
But as the drivers were climbing out of their cars in parc ferme, a message appeared from race control that his lap time was deleted after it was deemed he had exceeded track limits.
At the time Verstappen called the decision "odd" and claimed the FIA had not been monitoring that corner for track limits.

"Really?" exclaimed the Dutchman. "That's a bit odd because they were not checking track limits at turn 14, but whatever."
At the time, the Red Bull team principal Christian Horner rued the "brutal" track limits that have affected them.
"The whole track limits debate is just frustrating," said Horner.
"It's been brutal for us across the first three events. The win in Bahrain, the pole position yesterday and now the fastest lap. So it's been pretty expensive for us.
"[Lando] Norris passed Checo fully off the track. Again, another track limits inconsistency.
"We didn't see anyone else have the penalty that Max did today. He would've achieved that (fastest) lap."

And speaking to motorsport-magazin.com, Marko says it's something important that needs to be addressed.
"Now we come to something really serious: You have to stop with these regulations regarding the white lines," he explained.
"Once you can drive over it, once not.
"We should drive on racetracks with gravel and grass, because you will be punished if you drive off the track. Otherwise it's like an invitation for the drivers.

"It's a combination of safety thinking and other requirements, for example MotoGP.
"The run-off zone of the Parabolica has also been paved. You could actually put a gravel bed down there, where the driver then slowly has to work his way out again.
"I don't know how it came about. At some point it was called to increase security. This is a very terrible subject."
Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton now leads the standings by 14 points in the driver's standings heading into Monaco on Sunday.
