Hollywood actor Russell Crowe has recalled an interesting night out he had with singer Sting back in 2007.
In a series of tweets shared, the Aussie star told the story of how he attended a swingers night in a Dublin hotel after watching Sting's band, The Police, perform live.
"The one & only time I ever went to Croke Park was to see The Police in concert," he tweeted. "Flew in from London. Sat on a road case on the side of stage. Brilliant."
"Post gig, met up with Sting, for 1 pint, random pub. Unbeknownst to any of us it was Swingers night," he continued. "Poetry."
Crowe added in another tweet that he was there with his ex-wife, Danielle Spencer, at the swingers event and didn't stay long due to limited time.

"Jet by the hour. 1 pint was all the schedule allowed. I was also married. And... my wife was with me... and the children expected us home ... so... Poetry of another kind. At the time.
"People ask me why I love Dublin, I ask, how much time do I have ?"
Crowe and Spencer split in 2012 after nine years of marriage. They share two children together - sons Charles, 17 and Tennyson, 14.

The Unhinged star is currently in a relationship with real estate agent Britney Theriot.
Crowe is currently in New South Wales and is set to star in the upcoming psychological thriller film Poker Face, which begins filming next month. Natalie Portman, who is in Sydney for the production of Thor: Love and Thunder, is rumoured to star in the film.
Last week, the Aussie actor shaved off his beard which he grew for his part in Thor: Love and Thunder. Sharing a photo of his beard trimmings via Twitter, he wrote, "What price the beard of Zeus?"
