Jane McDonald appeared for the second instalment of the cruising show on Channel 5. She gave a tip for cruise goers that she learned "only from experience".

The series sees Jane travel around the world while on a cruise ship.

Tonight she was seen on a Carribean cruise which allowed her to visit Grand Cayman where she did some horse riding.

She then pulled up at Roatan where she headed underwater in a submarine.

Her trip concluded with a visit to Mexico where Jane enjoyed a night partying away.

The singer went on to say one in eight of all holidays taken by Britons are on cruise ships and she has shared her love of the relaxing venture.

Jane travelled on the modern Sky Princess for her cruise.

She added she has spent many years working on cruises and travelling on them for holidays.

While she took part in some exciting activities at the ports, Jane was on hand to offer advice for days at sea.

The average cruise ship can hold up to 3,000 guests.

The ships are often fitted with features such as cinemas, spas, gyms, restaurants and pools.

While cruise holidays have been put on hold during the coronavirus pandemic, Jane informed viewers ships can often be very busy.

When moving around, she stated there are apps available that do everything from booking a spa appointment to finding friends.

Speaking of the app, she said: "Finding friends is just one thing the app can do.

"One click and you can order room service, book excursions and see the day's itinerary."

Jane used the app to try and track down a friend she was due to meet.

The app showed the television star exactly where her friend was and how to get there.

However, she felt herself taking longer than expected to move around the ship.

This prompted Jane to offer some advice she had learnt over the years.

"Modern tech may be great but there are some things only experience can teach you," she continued.

"When you are on a big ship with 3,600 passengers on and you're at sea, everybody is using the elevators.

"So give yourself plenty of time to get where you need to be," she advised.
