Rangers legend Ally McCoist says it will be an emotional moment when Rangers lift their 55th league title this afternoon.
East Kilbride's favourite son admits he will be thinking of former Rangers icon Sandy Jardine when Steven Gerrard's side lifts the Premiership trophy.
Jardine, who tragically passed in 2014, was a close confidant and friend of McCoist when he managed Rangers during a time of financial uncertainty.
The presentation of the Premiership trophy this afternoon will cap an incredible journey which started in League Two under McCoist and he knows it will be an emotional moment.
"Absolutely, I'll be emotional," McCoist said. "We haven't won it for ten years and I'll think of Sandy Jardine who was an immense help to me when we were going through administration and liquidation.
"Sandy would come up to the office, have a cup of tea and have a right good moan about everything.

"He was a brilliant help. It was very, very sad and tragic what happened to Sandy - he is a massive miss.
"I'll think about Laura, the secretary at Rangers, Carole and Steven who helped with the media.
Rangers have been unstoppable in the league this season as they've stormed to their first silverware under the tutelage Steven Gerrard.
They'll finish the Premiership season as undefeated if they avoid a loss against Aberdeen this afternoon and McCoist admits it's been an unbelievable campaign.
He said: "There's just been a different look about them in terms of confidence. Last season, they did fine up until the turn of the year but then the form dipped a bit.

"This year there was a steel about them, particularly defensively and that was the big thing for me. You just have to look at the defensive record - it's been ridiculous.
"In forward areas, there's always been players that can score goals and win games. Kent, at times, has been unplayable, sensational and Morelos has scored goals.
"The back four has been unbelievable. Tavernier has had a fantastic season with his contributions from set-plays and his goalscoring return."
