Orlando Bloom drew a number of reactions as he took to social media on Thursday posting a series of photos donning a brown poncho while posed on a rock formation in nature.

The 44-year-old actor referred to his fashion choice in the caption of the shot, writing, 'Ponch-bro,' with emojis of a cactus, desert and happy face.

The Carnival Row actor rounded out his ensemble with khaki jeans and brown boots in the series of photos, which were set amid a series of scenic rock formations.

In the images set amid the stunning background, the actor looked away and into the camera while alternating between sitting and standing.

Among the reactions he received included one from Gwyneth Paltrow, who wrote, 'What are we going for here, just to be clear?'

One commenter responded to Paltrow that Bloom was 'serving handsome rugged nature realness,' while another told Paltrow, 'You clearly don't own a poncho.'

Other responses included supermodel Helena Christensen, who wrote that Bloom singlehandedly 'revived the poncho' with the set of pictures.

Fashion expert Derek Blasberg wrote, 'Should I stay or should I poncho?' in reference to the 1981 song by The Clash, Should I Stay or Should I Go.

Actress Vinessa Shaw complimented the actor, writing, 'Fashion forward! Nice pics!'

Bloom, who shares daughter Daisy Dove with fiancee Katy Perry, 36, and son Flynn, 10, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr, 38, earlier this week also acknowledged Perry's first Mother's Day since giving birth to their daughter last summer.

He was seen in fishing gear in a photoshopped pic in which he stood in a lake while holding a mermaid incarnation of his fiancee.

'Got myself a real catch,' he wrote, with an emoji of a fish and a heart. 'Sending love and respect to all the amazing people who have shaped our lives, supported us and loved us unconditionally. Happy Mother's Day.'

Bloom's next movie, the sci-fi film Needle in a Timestack, is in the post-production phase. It co-stars Freida Pinto, Leslie Odom Jr. and Cynthia Erivo.
